The morning felt warmer and drier than yesterday, the kind that carried a soft whisper of wind along the Landwehrkanal. I walked toward the Tiergarten and almost immediately stumbled upon the morning’s scene. The canal was completely green, blanketed with duckweed, water lentils like nature had rolled out a carpet for the ducks. Today was my Tiergarten loop, broken into steady stages of interval walking of course. I paused at the Neuer See, breathing deeply, letting meditation mingle with the splash of ducks nearby. Above, the moon still lingered, pale and patient. As promised, I brought you impressions of the green-draped water, where the stillness met the shimmer and the city’s noise felt far away.
Der Morgen war wärmer und trockener als gestern, mit einem leichten Windhauch am Landwehrkanal. Auf dem Weg zum Tiergarten fand ich sofort das Motiv des Tages. Der Kanal war vollständig grün, bedeckt mit Entengrütze, Wasserlinsen. Heute stand die Tiergartenrunde an, natürlich in Etappen mit Intervall-Walking. Am Neuen See atmete ich tief ein, meditierte und hörte den Enten beim Planschen zu. Darüber schwebte noch der fahle Mond. Wie angekündigt, habe ich euch Eindrücke des grünen Wassers mitgebracht.
