The cold autumn morning carried a crisp charm, about five degrees that bit gently at my cheeks. I wandered the Luiseninsel loop through the palace gardens, where I paused at the decorated bust of the queen and the hollow tree stuffed with changing treasures. Later, I lingered by the water, practicing breath and meditation while a busy beaver across the bank minded his quiet affairs. I did not hurry, I did not hide. Instead, I carried both the beaver and the adorned queen with me, like companions I could show you, vivid reminders of a morning not forgotten.
Der kalte Herbstmorgen trug einen klaren Zauber, etwa fünf Grad, die mir sanft die Wangen streiften. Ich ging die Luiseninselrunde durch den Schlosspark, hielt inne bei der geschmückten Büste der Königin und dem hohlen Baum voller wechselnder Schätze. Später verweilte ich am Wasser, übte Atem und Meditation, während ein geschäftiger Biber am anderen Ufer seinen stillen Dingen nachging. Ich eilte nicht, ich verbarg mich nicht. Stattdessen nahm ich den Biber und die geschmückte Königin mit, wie Gefährten, die ich euch zeigen konnte, lebendige Erinnerungen an einen Morgen, der nicht verblasste.
