A fresh and windy autumn morning wrapped me in cool air of about ten degrees as I started my long lockland walk. I moved in intervals, sometimes brisk, sometimes calm, and along the way I picked up a few walnuts that had just fallen from the trees. I rolled them in both hands like qi gong balls, not as decoration but as practice for nimble fingers. Curious squirrels darted across the path, quick as sparks, and I paused by the great lock to breathe deeply and clear my mind with a touch of meditation. On the start of my walk I captured a fleeting red sunrise that lasted only a heartbeat, along with another beautiful close shot of a silk tree blossom on the way back, delicate and bright, to share with you.
Ein frischer windiger Herbstmorgen um die zehn Grad hüllte mich ein, als ich meine große Schleusenlandrunde ging. Ich wechselte das Tempo, sammelte Walnüsse auf und rollte sie wie Qi Gong Kugeln in beiden Händen. Unterwegs begegnete ich vielen Eichhörnchen, hielt am großen Schleusenwehr inne, atmete bewusst und ließ den Kopf frei werden. Am Anfang meines Walks nahm ich den kurzen roten Sonnenaufgangsmoment und auf dem Rückweg eine weitere schöne Nahaufnahme der Seidenakazienblüte auf, um sie euch mitzubringen.
