It was a very cool crisp autumn morning, the kind that painted the air with breath you could almost touch. I walked the short peninsula route before the show setup job today, mixing bursts of interval walking with pauses that felt like punctuation marks in the story of the day. At the water’s edge I practiced breathing and meditation, letting the quiet ripple through me like a calm tide. A fox and a grey heron flashed past, too quick and too disinterested for a photo, vanishing like secrets not meant to be shared. Instead, I brought you something else: the charred shell of a Porsche. It stood strangely intact in a park harbor on a remote road, license plate still fixed on the rear, parked as if nothing was wrong. I could not shake the thought that it was stolen, its burned body a stark reminder that not every morning mystery was wrapped in the usual beauty.
Es war ein sehr kühler frischer Herbstmorgen, der die Luft mit Atem färbte, den man fast berühren konnte. Ich ging die kurze Halbinselroute vor dem Show-Setup-Job heute, mischte schnelle Intervalle mit Pausen, die wie Satzzeichen wirkten. Am Wasser übte ich Atem- und Meditationstechniken, ließ die Ruhe durch mich fließen wie eine sanfte Flut. Ein Fuchs und ein Graureiher huschten vorbei, zu schnell und zu unwillig für ein Foto, verschwanden wie Geheimnisse, die nicht geteilt werden sollten. Stattdessen brachte ich euch etwas anderes: die ausgebrannte Hülle eines Porsche. Er stand merkwürdig ordentlich im Parkhafen in einer abgelegenen Straße, Kennzeichen noch am Heck, geparkt, als sei nichts geschehen. Ich konnte den Gedanken nicht abschütteln, dass er gestohlen war, sein verbrannter Körper eine Mahnung, dass nicht jedes Morgenrätsel in die übliche Schönheit gehüllt war.
