Hi everyone, and welcome to my performance for Week 148, Round 1 of the Hive Music Festival. This time, I’ve chosen a song that feels very personal—“Vodka Cranberry” by Conan Gray. It’s a song that speaks about heartbreak, loneliness, and the quiet moments when we try to cope with pain in our own way.

“Vodka Cranberry” isn’t just about a drink—it’s about the feeling behind it. That moment when you’re sitting alone, maybe in a crowded place, and you’re trying to forget someone who meant a lot to you. The lyrics are simple but powerful. They talk about missing someone, pretending to be okay, and hoping that maybe, just maybe, they’ll come back. Even if deep down, you know they won’t.

I chose this song because I think we’ve all been there. We’ve all had nights where we feel a little lost, a little broken, and we just want something to make it easier. Music has always helped me through those moments, and I hope this performance can do the same for you.

I’m here to share with the community of @musiczone . If this song touches you, I’d love to hear your thoughts. Leave a comment, share your story, or just let me know you’re listening. Thank you for being here, and for letting me be part of this beautiful community.

Hive Music Festival – Semana 148, Ronda 1

Lyrics:
You say we're fine, but your brown eyes
Are green this time, so you've been crying
It's in the way you say my name
So quick, so straight, it sounds the same
As the time we took a break
February fourth through the sixteenth of May
So strange to be back at your place
Pretending like nothing has changed, oh
Speak up, I know you hate me
Looked at your picture and cried like a baby
Speak up, don't leave me waiting
Got way too drunk off a vodka cranberry
Called you up in the middle of the night
Wailing like an imbecile
If you won't end things
Then I will
Now I look dumb and you look mean
You casually steal back your T-shirt
And your Polo cap, yeah, I noticed that
Yeah, I notice everything you do
Since the time we took a break
Everybody knows you don't love me the same
So cruel to be lying to my face
'Cause I know what you're too scared to say, oh
Speak up, I know you hate me
Looked at your picture and cried like a baby
Speak up, don't leave me waiting
Got way too drunk off a vodka cranberry
Called you up in the middle of the night
Wailing like an imbecile
If you won't end things
Then I will
