If you're interested in space or not, this is a chance to potentially name the UK Space Agency's rover. It's scheduled to launch in 2020 and is part of the ExoMars mission, to investigate the red planet. It will be searching for signs of life and how Mars has evolved.

The competition was announced by British astronaut Tim Peake, at the Farnborough International Airshow in England. This is an event that takes place every two years, in July over seven days. I would usually go but couldn't this year.

Of course I have already thought of a name and submitted it. The competition is only open to residents of Austria, Belgium, Canada, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the UK.

The winner will get a tour of the Airbus facility in Stevenage, England, which is where the rover is being built. The closing date is the 10th of October 2018. For more information and to enter click here
