translucent smile.jpg Hi my name is Cory Bradley, I was born deep in the woods of Mount Shasta CA at a very special historic place called Ney Springs, or Faery Falls: Faery Falls.jpghttps://www.hikespeak.com/trails/faery-falls-ney-springs/

The time of my birth was December 11th 1992 at 1 in the morning. we were on a remodeled school bus days after one of the worst storms of the century, where it snowed 2 feet a day for 5 days straight. When my mother went into labor, my father had to go cross country skiing for a half mile to reach the car, leaving my 9 year old sister to watch over my mother while he left to get the midwife. When my father reached the vehicle he quickly realized there was no way he would be able to get it out in time, as it had been completely buried by the storm. After realizing his predicament, he skied all the way into town, about 4 miles, to get the midwife and bring her back to the bus. By the time my father had skied down to the bus with the midwife, I was already born with what little help that my sister could give.

Being a radical wild child that was born in the woods, I was somewhat of a freak, an outcast if you will, this caused me to get picked on a lot when I was a child so I rebelled and became a skater, made friends with more freaks, and started smoking weed.

Since I was a rebellious outcast, I couldn't handle regular school, so I went to a charter school with all my other outcast friends and learned about cooking food, changing tires, jumping starting your car, rebuilding a 4 cylinder engine, converting a diesel engine into a biodiesel engine, and making biodiesel. My school was so awesome that their library(bookshelf) had books like;

Everything You Know is Wrong: Bhagavad Gita: Be Here Now: And many other books on free energy and health.

Being taught by such amazing teachers, and given the opportunities to learn the things that I learned, I soon realized that there was something seriously wrong with our society and the way things were governed. Michael Moor and his movies like Fahrenheit 9/11, Sicko, and Bowling for Columbine made me think that we were doomed, I felt like we fighting a fixed game and that it was pointless to try and do anything because how could 1 person make any difference in this world?

Well I eventually learned that we have to do something, and that 1 person can make a difference. I learned through going to a permaculture course that we as humans have a far greater capacity for creativity, love, and compassion, than we do for fear, hate, and destruction. We just need to be given the tools and the education to achieve it.

This is where I saw how 1 person could make a huge difference, just by spreading knowledge and compassion about this planet and how we can collectively create a better standard of living in our society, one that is holistic, and befits life in all of its forms.

I vow to always be a good steward of this planet and to try my best to give back to the earth that provides so much for me. I promise to myself that I will achieve my goals and do my earth deeds, as well as help my fellow neighbors. prayer in the smoke.jpgI will never give up, I am determined to succeed, and I know I will because the universe is on my side. Aho mitakuye oyasin!!
