It's been so incredibly beautiful out lately!!!
This week has been awesome so I have been out in the yard doing spring cleaning and getting the garden prepped for planting, as well as building a cold frame box for growing some greens before the last frost comes.
This cold frame here was built with 1x6 boards and 1x2 for the door, then I used scrap irrigation line as support struts for the plastic cover.
I'm excited to live in my own home this year, one that has my name on the rental agreement, it actually feels like my home. Finally I have the space to create some of the things that I have daydreamed about.
I am determined to build the projects and designs that permaculture inspires me to make
- I will design, develop, and manage a permaculture farm/homestead that stacks as many functions between elements as I can.
- I will grow hemp on keyline
- I will build a chicken coop to raise chickens for eggs.
- I will build a compost tea brewing station.
- I will build a biochar oven and feed the chicken coop hemp-char.
- I will build my custom designed passive solar greenhouse with Hempcrete.
- I will build a rainwater catchment system.
- I will build a compost toilet.
- I will build amazing soil.
I will utilize everthing I have created and live in symbiosis with my environment
