1 Thessalonians 5:6-10
"So then let us not asleep, as others do, but let us keep awake and be sober. For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk, are drunk at night. But since we belong to the day, let us be sober, having put on the breastplate of faith and love, and for helmet the hope of Salvation. For God has not destined us for wrath, but timo obtain Salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us so that whether we awake or asleep we might live with him."
In this case, for those who sleep too much cause doom to their lives in reality. When we even relate this verses to our real life situation. We are unable to accomplish many tasks that we are suppose to do.
When we sleep, the devil get acess to operate and put burdens into our lives. But when awake, we are vigilant and observes things clearly in lives. We avoid commiting unnessary mistakes that would let us to be troubled by the devil.
Awaking in life for our Christian understanding is being focus in our Christian's life, keeping our righteousness with the word of God. Doing away from sins that would pave way for the devil to destroy us. We should all the time be alert and pursue the right course.
