Hello Dear community and friends again with you in Hive community. I had been away for about 2 days due to COVID-19 pandemic and more related issues. I just hopped in only to find out of that is an ongoing great initiative powered by @theycallmedan: "What Does Hive Mean to you?"
I went through the post about this initiative, it sounds clear and straight forward of what we are required to provide. These are stated boldly in four main points:
- "What is Hive to you?"
- "What do you want to see HIVE evolve into?"
- "What do you think about having a large funded #Dao for future HIVE development?"
- "What does HIVE mean to you?"
I wouldn't want to be beat about the bush, but want to hit the nail right on its head. Right away, Hive is alive and making its ways to effect our lives greatly and that are the impact we are sharing here.
1.What is HIVE to me?
To me, Hive is Beatitudes which has been created with more modifications to seek the welfare of members. I think this best answers the question, "the reason why Steem has been rebranded into Hive." Steem was alright keeping its decentralization, but with the insertion of ninja mined of Steem, took over all the power in the hands of individual Steemians. This was clear introduction of centralization into Steem. Steem has lost its values at it stands, providing good welfare to Steemians. That's why I see Hive being our "Beatitudes" to seek our welfare. Some of the elements of beatitudes are love, mercy, peace, unity, freedom, justice and censorship resistance.
2.What do I want to see HIVE evolve into?
I want to see Hive developing into larger decentralized community in the blockchain. With respect to transition of projects that can be more resourceful to provide back support for Hive community. I see Hive having lots of communities and individuals who are visionaries having good hearts to support Hive community. I can mention few here: @blocktrades, @dao, @openseed, @theycallmedan, @ocd and many witnesses and whales. I hope more Hive Proposal System(HPS) are underway as steem was resourced by some of these philanthropists who supported. Individuals steemians here have also responded well, with time a lot projects are going to be effected here.
3.What do I think about having a large funded #Dao for future Hive Development?
Dao as Decentralized Autonomous Organisation plays a major role in funding for our HPS. It is a big wave which has support steem and other Crypto companies like bitcoin. @blocktrades introduced Steem to this lovely Dapp which seeks to provide some supports to individual projects as far as it falls within the SPS. In the same way, I see this light luckily enough for Hive, since it pursue the course of "Decentralization." With #Dao having the mindset of running an independent services, no company can infringe upon them to control their decisions, hence we can be on the safest side with #Dao.
4.What Does HIVE mean to me?
Hive mean to me as decentralized that has advanced from less sophisticated Tech to highly sophisticated Tech. In this case, Hive splitting from Steem has helped to open up to more ideas, inviting experienced Developers to create multi purposeful ideas to support Hive community. As the community is young, with few people, we also have experienced witnesses who have ideas to explore if given the mandates.
Hive again mean to me as incentivization and fixation of benefits. From the word go, @blocktrades announced the incentive measures on the pipe line. The airdropping is coming to boost our morale to work harder. We can also show up by on-boarding more members to also join.
