Flagstaff Park, Melbourne in winter

Right next to Queen Victoria Market, Flagstaff Park is pretty decent for a walk after shopping.

The trees are mostly bare now, and there’s leaves everywhere on the ground. Makes that satisfying crunch when you walk through. Still plenty of green stuff around though - the park doesn’t look dead or anything.

What did I see today? Dog walkers are out in force too, letting their dogs sniff around in the leaf piles and running around.

The fallen leaves make everything look a bit more interesting than usual.

Winter in Melbourne parks hits different - there’s something about the bare trees and crisp air that just works.
