Hoy les traigo Chattie, una app en la que vengo trabajando desde hace un tiempo, apoyándome en inteligencia artificial. Es una herramienta pensada principalmente para streamers, especialmente los pequeños y medianos.es un lector de chat para stremers En mi experiencia como streamer en diferentes plataformas (por cierto, síganme 😆 — opyavi en todos lados, los links están al final del post), noté que la mayoría de las herramientas disponibles para streamers pequeños y medianos son de pago y bastante caras. Además, muchas consumen demasiados recursos del sistema. Cuando comencé a hacer lives, mi PC simplemente no podía con esas apps o los add-ons de OBS y otras herramientas. Con el tiempo libre que tenía, empecé a escribir algo de código e intenté crear una versión que corriera desde el navegador. Pero descubrí que tener cualquier navegador abierto también consume un montón de recursos. Así que decidí pasarme a algo más simple (hasta cierto punto 😅): Python. Después de varios fallos e intentos, logré tener la primera versión funcional de Chattie (v0.1).   Funciones principales: Por ahora, funciona solo con la plataforma Twitch. Puede leer el chat en vivo y resaltar los mensajes que va leyendo, para que sepas exactamente dónde estás durante el directo. Está disponible en español e inglés, y podés cambiar tanto el idioma como la voz, la velocidad de lectura, o incluso activar una opción para que no lea URLs largas o innecesarias. También incluye un botón de mute (muy útil 😅). Todavía sigo trabajando en Chattie. Esta primera versión está publicada en itch.io (link más abajo) y es gratuita. It’s a tool mainly designed for streamers, especially small and mid-sized ones.It is a chat reader for streamers From my experience as a streamer on different platforms (by the way, follow me 😆 — opyavi everywhere, links at the end of the post), I noticed that most tools for small or mid-level streamers are paid and quite expensive. They also tend to use a lot of system resources. When I first started streaming, my PC simply couldn’t handle those apps or OBS add-ons. During my free time, I began writing some code and tried building something browser-based, but quickly realized browsers also eat up tons of resources. So, I decided to go with something simpler (well, sort of 😅): Python. After many bugs and failed attempts, I finally managed to get the first functional version of Chattie (v0.1) running.   Main Features: Currently works with Twitch only. It can read your live chat out loud and highlight the messages it’s reading, so you always know where you are during the stream. Available in Spanish and English, with full control over voice, reading speed, and even an option to skip long URLs. And yes, it also has a mute button 😅. I’m still actively developing Chattie, but the first version is already live on itch.io (link below) and completely free to download.
