🔹¡Hola! Hoy quiero hablarles de por qué, en mi opinión, el mejor personaje en los RPGs es… ¡el mago! 🧙♂️!
Primero, un poco de contexto: el juego del que les hablo es Dragon Age II, mi favorito dentro del género. He jugado otros títulos como Final Fantasy, que también son excelentes, pero por su historia y jugabilidad, me quedo con este.
Como en todo buen RPG, las decisiones que tomás influyen directamente en la historia y en cómo desarrollás a tu personaje, tanto en habilidades como en personalidad. Podés decidir si sos héroe o villano, si combatís a los engendros oscuros o te convertís en uno más.
Lo que más me gusta del mago es su versatilidad: puede especializarse en magia elemental, magia de sangre, del Velo, magia primordial… dependiendo del juego, varían los nombres, pero la idea es la misma. Tenés una enorme variedad de poderes que, además de ser útiles, ¡se ven increíbles! Y seamos sinceros… ¿quién no querría tener poderes mágicos?
También hay objetos mágicos y malditos con habilidades extrañas, y opciones como ser un caballero-mago, combinando combate cuerpo a cuerpo con hechizos —¡muy divertido!
En Dragon Age, jugar como mago desbloquea historias y misiones únicas, como buscar báculos legendarios o descubrir secretos de la magia de sangre. Incluso podés convertirte en un cambiaformas o combinar ramas de habilidades para ser aún más poderoso. Eso sí, si no completás una rama, no accedés a los poderes más fuertes.
Podés ser sanador, ofensivo, controlador… ¡las posibilidades son infinitas!
Ahora reinstalé el juego y voy a volver a pasarlo como maga, jajaja.
¡Para mí, los magos son lo mejor en los RPGs!
En general, suelo jugar más FPS y simuladores, pero sagas como Dragon Age (1, 2 y 3 —porque no existen más 😅), Diablo II, entre otros, siempre van a tener un lugar muy especial en mi biblioteca gamer. 🎮✨

Hey there! Today I want to talk about why, in my opinion, the best RPG class is… the Mage! 🧙♂️
First, some context: the game I’m talking about is Dragon Age II, my all-time favorite RPG. I've played others like Final Fantasy, which are also amazing, but because of its story and gameplay, this one takes the top spot for me.
As in every good RPG, decision-making is key — it shapes the story and how you build your character’s skills and personality. You get to choose if you want to be a hero or a villain, fight the darkspawn or become one yourself!
What I love about playing as a mage is the versatility. You can specialize in elemental magic, blood magic, primal magic, or magic from the Fade — each game names them differently, but the concept is the same. There's a huge variety of powers that not only are powerful but look awesome too! And let’s be honest… who wouldn’t want to have magical powers?
Depending on the game, you also have access to magical or cursed items with weird powers. You can even go for a battlemage build and combine melee combat with magic — super fun!
In Dragon Age, playing as a mage unlocks special storylines, like searching for blood magic powers or legendary staves that make you even stronger. You can become a shapeshifter or combine different ability trees to increase your power. Just make sure to fully develop a skill tree, or you won’t unlock the strongest spells.
You can be a healer, a damage dealer, a crowd controller… the possibilities are endless!
I just reinstalled the game, and I’m going to play it again — this time as a mage, of course! 😄
In my experience, mages are simply the best in RPGs.
Even though I mostly play FPS and simulation games, titles like Dragon Age (1, 2 and 3 —wish there were more 😅), Diablo II, and others always hold a special place in my gaming library. 🎮✨
