Our Organic Solution Against Moles Is A Beautiful Flower - Organic Gardening At Its best!

For years we were at war with the moles that messed up our entire garden over and over again.

We literally tried everything (except for poison, of course), but nothing seemed to be working They just seemed to like our garden so much they refused to get scared away.

Then we found out about this beautiful flower - Fritillaria imperialis or Kaiser's crown, and how it was known to be disliked by moles.๐ŸŒบ

3 years ago, we bought ourselves some (pretty expensive) bulbs, and planted them in the outer border of our garden - 2 or 3 meters apart from each other.

Believe it or not, we haven't seen a mole ever since.

I'm not sure, but I assume it is the smell of the bulbs - which is amazingly similar to the smell of marihuana - that keeps the moles from entering out garden.

As a nice bonus, the flowers start to grow pretty early in the season. Once they appear, you know spring isn't far away anymore.

Special note to @bengy: the bulbs have to be planted in fall - late September, early October. I'm just saying... ๐Ÿ˜‰

This is organic gardening at its best! ๐Ÿ’› ๐ŸŒท
