**Inktober** is a drawing challenge that involves creating a drawing every day in October based on a series of words or phrases. It encourages people to draw and improve their drawing skills. It was created by Jake Parker and was originally a challenge where participants had to draw with ink and, obviously, using traditional methods, but over the years people have participated using a variety of materials, both traditional and digital. I looked for a couple of references of human skeletons to use as inspiration and to help me a little with the drawing, because it's one thing to be good at drawing skulls, but it's quite another to know how to draw skeletons, so it was useful to use some images as references to structure the character. > Comencé haciendo el boceto en mi cuaderno de dibujo. To be honest, I didn't think about what pose I was going to do, since my idea was for it to have the same pose as the original image, so I didn't complicate things on that front. Once I had the sketch ready, what I did next was put the adhesive tape around it so I could start painting it. > Estuve un rato haciendo todo el boceto, la verdad que no pensé en que pose lo iba a hacer, ya que mi idea era que tuviese la misma pose de la imagen original, así que no me complique por ese lado. I paint the hat, then the skeleton, and so on until the whole drawing is complete. > Comienzo haciendo las sombras en el dibujo, para luego irme a hacer los demás detalles. Voy pintado el sombrero, luego el esqueleto y así todo el dibujo en general. ||| |---|---| ||| Finally, what I have to do is detail certain areas of the drawing with a mechanical pencil, in order to define the character a little more and make him look better. I add some highlights, sign my name, and that's it, friends.
