I ended up changing the crown and only left the gems on her forehead, as I felt that the type of crown she had wasn't going to be as graceful, or I simply didn't like how it looked in the illustration, so I decided to make something lighter for her. > Comencé haciendo el boceto, tomando en cuenta los aspectos del personaje original y tratando de encajar el mismo a mi estilo. Le llegue a cambiar lo que fue la corona y solo le deje las gemas en la frente, ya que sentí que ese tipo de corona que tenia, no iba a ser tan agraciada o simplemente no me gustaba como quedaba en la ilustración y decidí hacerle algo mas ligero para ella. ||| |---|---| ||| It didn't take me long to get the sketch ready, as it wasn't that complicated to recreate. The only thing that took me a while was making all the snakes, as I had to look up several references and make and integrate them one by one, but in the end I managed it and got the sketch ready to start painting. > No me llevo mucho tiempo en tener el boceto listo, ya que no era tan complicado recrear. En lo único que llegue a tardar, fue en hacer todas las serpientes, ya que tuve que buscar varias referencias e ir haciendo e integrando una por una, pero al final de logro y deje listo el boceto para comenzar a pintarlo. ||| |---|---| ||| I begin painting by first adding a base color, and then I add all the other colors for each specific area in the drawing. After that, I begin to add details to each element. The face is the first thing I detail, since I love painting faces. I then move on to detailing the snakes, and so on with the entire illustration. > Comienzo a pintar agregando primeramente un color base y luego agrego todos los demás para cada zona especifica en el dibujo. Luego de eso, comienzo a detallar cada cosa, el rostro es lo primero que detallo, ya que me encanta pintar rostros. Paso a detallar las serpientes y así sigo con toda la ilustración. ||| |---|---| ||| To finish the drawing, what I do is add the final details, such as adjusting the color in certain areas, adding a little line art, adding shadows and highlights.
