Greetings my friends from @weekendexperiences, I hope you had a relaxing and/ or fruitful weekend.

My weekend I can declare it successful because I was able to do several household chores that I was unable to do during the week.

But in all honesty it was not relaxing, as I had to do everything under pressure, trying to finish before the power was cut off, which these days you can't rely on the disconnection program as there is a power deficit and it can be cut off at any minute.

To make the panorama more stressful, nature did not want to cooperate and threatened to rain or rain and dalia the sun, most people in Cuba wash and hang the clothes outdoors to let the sun and the sun dry them.
This meant that I had to be careful not to get them wet.

A priority task was to clean the freezer, since we were given at work a box of chicken with 4 packs of 10 pounds, here we must have food stored, because it may be scarce for a certain period of time what you need.
This task is also stressful, since you have the uncertainty of defrosting and if the national electrical system goes down, you can perfectly well be with luck 3 or 4 days without electricity and then without cold you spoil the food.
Fortunately, even though the electricity is turned off at intervals, I had time for the products to freeze.
Between these things, cleaning and cooking I almost didn't have time to disconnect writing my post this week, and I only read @tonyes' post, I hope I have connection to read others and I can publish mine.

My primary intention was to tell you about the first point, but here I am telling you about my weekend.
However, without going into too much detail I want to talk about what I wish I had, what I don't have and why.
I wish to have peace of mind in my life, not having to worry about the "There is no, it does not exist", even if you have the money you can't find food, medicine, transportation, etc.
I want my salary to have purchasing power and to be commensurate with my work.
I don't have that not only because the government is responsible for the economic deterioration and the low standard of living. I am responsible for believing in and never following the political discourse.
I never thought that I could reach this level, I studied, I became a good professional, I had some economic possibilities in tourism in exchange for giving up my job as a university professor, I was able together with my husband and a good planning to create a fund for old age, which came to nothing with the economic reorganization measures.

Today I think that I lacked vision and a bit of courage to leave the country as many did back then and today the young people, my children, are doing much more.
Sometimes I think that not having internet, nor having any contact with the.world made us lose our voice and the ability to fight for our rights and the consequences is the result of today's Cuba.
Thanks to all for supporting and to @galenkp the possibility of addressing the issue , because it teaches us that we are responsible for what we have and what we do not.
