Happy weekend community, I hope you enjoy whatever you decide to do, to recharge your batteries and face the work week.
I have spent a Saturday that I can tell you was a Saturday of Glory, I felt very happy and fulfilled.
Imagine that my oldest granddaughter, who is 16 years old, came to spend the day with my husband and me.
Since Thursday when they announced their visit we did not stop thinking about how to organize the day so that those kids would feel good, what to prepare to eat, if we could organize to play a board game, watch a movie or listen to some music.
Well, nothing happened as we imagined, they came with their plan which was to fill their grandparents with joy with their witticisms jjjj.
To begin with, I tell you that we were surprised by how early they arrived, because they are sleepyheads. They came with the idea of having breakfast with us, so they practically dragged us out of bed.
They came with freshly baked hot bread so it was just a matter of making some eggs and the chocolate milk they love so much.
While we were having breakfast we had a very lively chat, we laughed a lot with their school stories.
But everything got better when they informed us that they wanted to cook, so under a little supervision we let them make rice, beans, breaded steak, fried malangas and even a custard.
Everything was delicious, but the best thing was that they impregnated us with positive energy and vibes, that time with them was full of laughter and joy.
Those are the small details that make us greatly happy, I thank life for it, because my real children and grandchildren are far away and this little girl and her brothers and sisters have been a gift from God, to feel close to that complicity of the grandmother with her grandchildren.
I appreciate your reading and comments.
