My best wishes to all the Fin de Semana community, happy to be able to share with you experiences that make me happy.
Camping is one of the walks that I have always enjoyed a lot, since I was a child I got used to enjoy the benefits of nature and as I grew up I was more attracted to it, especially in my student days.

And is that young people are always adventurous and come up with things that are exciting and sometimes test our abilities and skills to cope with certain situations that are not what we are used to do.

I still remember with excitement the hikes and visits to the caves, on one occasion we dared to go without a guide to explore and although we had a lot of fun, we also spent a great suffocation, because we took a wrong path that was very narrow, to make matters worse it started to rain.

Luckily we met some locals, who guided us and showed us a path where we had to cross a river, that was quite a party.

When I had my children every summer we spent one or two weeks at the CAMPISMO, several families went to the JIBACOA campsite, an area where the beach and the mountains are mixed.

The kids loved horseback riding and mountain climbing, they also enjoyed the beach, swimming and sports. It still makes me laugh to remember my youngest son who won a prize imitating his grandparents.

Evenings at these campgrounds are usually very lively, with cultural shows, dances and participatory activities. Sometimes we would build bonfires to keep the mosquitoes away and make stories and games around them, that activity entailed looking for wood and dry leaves that we could use to keep the fire going for a while.

A nice experience that everyone remembers once we went to look for crabs, everything was very dark and the little ones got scared and wanted to go back, but the older ones did accomplish the goal.

The next day, we cooked on the seashore the most special crabs I have ever tasted in my life, I have to thank my oldest daughter, who was the organizer of the expedition and the soul of that meal.
