We went for a walk around the University because this place brings back very pleasant memories.
Well, I never imagined that I would be so happy to contemplate the staircase, it is still there, majestic, an invitation to young people to climb and be received by the Alma Mater, who invites us to this place of wisdom.
That day the young people were called to a concert with Silvio Rodríguez on the steps and were organizing the stage, lights and audio.
It was exciting, because we relived memorable moments of concerts just like today with Silvio, with the difference of a few decades, as a song of this singer-songwriter says It's not the same anymore, but it's the same. 🤣
The University has different access points, which today are closed, it is a pity, because each entrance made it easier to get to your faculty faster, besides enjoying the gardens, statues and the natural and architectural beauty that hides each place..
I am glad to see that the university stadium is being repaired, this stadium, like the whole university, has a history, many Cuban sports figures trained there..
Finally, we went to the Faculty of Psychology, where there is an ice cream parlor that is famous among students for its quality.
The place is designed for young college students, not to stay, just buy and go, although there is a bar for those who are more stubborn.
It caught my attention that it was decorated according to the Halloween festivities, which was not a tradition in my time, but today it is becoming more popular among young people.
The ice cream was the culmination of the tour, very tasty and refreshing. I spent a very pleasant afternoon at the pace of Havana.

Hoy voy a hablarles de un paseo reciente con mi hermana, no fue planificado, justo necesitábamos caminar, para liberar las tensiones de la cotidianidad que les aseguro en Cuba puede ser difícil.
Nos embullamos a caminar por los alrededores de la Universidad porque este lugar nos trae muy gratos recuerdos.
Pues bien, no imaginé, que me alegrara tanto contemplar la escalinata, sigue ahí, majestuosa es toda una invitación a los jóvenes para subir y ser recibidos por el Alma Mater, que nos invita a este recinto de sabiduría.
Ese día los jóvenes estaban convocados a un concierto con Silvio Rodríguez en la escalinata y estaban organizando el escenario, las luces y el audio.
Fue emocionante, pues revivimos memorables momentos de conciertos al igual que hoy con Silvio, con la diferencia de algunas décadas, como dice una canción de este cantautor Ya no es lo mismo, pero es igual. 🤣
La Universidad tiene difertes puntos de accesos, los cuales hoy se encuentran cerrados, es una pena, pues cada entrada facilitaba llegar más rápido a tu facultad, además de disfrutar de los jardines, estatuas y de la belleza natural y arquitectónica que esconde cada lugar.
Me alegro ver que el estadio universitario se encuentra en reparaciones, ese estadio como toda la Universidad tiene historia, muchas figuras del deporte cubano entrenaron ahí.
Finalmente, nos dirigimos hasta cerca de la Facultad de sicología, donde hay una heladería que goza de fama entre los estudiantes por su calidad
El lugar está diseñado para los jóvenes universitarios, no es para hacer estancia, solo comprar y seguir, aunque hay una barra para aquellos más remolones.
Me llamó la atención que estaba decorado en función de las Fiestas de Halloween, que en mi época no era tradición, pero que hoy se está imponiendo entre los jóvenes.
Ell helado fue el colofón del paseo, muy sabroso y refrescante. Pasé una tarde superagradable al ritmo de como va La Habana.
