**Clearing My Mind**
I remembered it was Wednesday, and it was my first time in the community. I wanted to stop by and share my experience. I've had overwhelming days and wanted to clear my mind a bit. It was a wonderful day, with no threat of rain, so I decided to stop by the park, taking advantage of the proximity. As soon as I entered, I felt a breeze refreshing my face. I sat on one of the benches to drink a sip of water. While the stream continued to blow, I felt refreshed, only the silence and nature accompanying me.

**Despejando Mi Mente**
>Recordé que es miércoles y por primera vez en la comunidad, quise pasar por aquí con mi experiencia, he tenido días abrumadores y quería despejar un poco mi mente. Es un día maravilloso y sin amenaza de lluvia, decidí pasar por el parque, aprovechando que estaba cerca del lugar. el solo entrar en él, sentí una brisa refrescando mi rostro. Me senté en uno de los bancos para tomar un sobro de agua, mientras que la corriente seguía soplando y sentía que me refrescaba, solo el silencio y la naturaleza me acompañaban.
After that brief rest, I stopped to walk around and observe the large sculptures on display in the park, each with its own story. I didn't go over to read their captions, but I did take out my phone to take photos. Perhaps I'll investigate each one further sometime later. There were few people in the park, and I could see that some fast-food stands hadn't yet opened; it was barely 8:30 in the morning.
>Después de ese breve descanso me pare, a caminar y a observar las grandes esculturas que se exhiben en el parque y que tienen su historia. No me acerque a leer sus enunciados, pero saque el teléfono para tomar fotos, quizás en algún momento investigo a cerca de cada una de ellas. Había poca gente en el parque, se podía ver que algunos quioscos de comida rápida aún, no habían comenzado a trabajar, apenas eran las ocho y media de la mañana.
Perhaps that's why everything was so calm. People come to the park starting at 10:00 a.m. and enjoy the whole day, exercising, playing, meditating, and others come to enjoy themselves with their children, relaxing, and having a good time. As I walk along the paths, I feel quite calm and less stressed. There are times when it's necessary to get away from the noise and lose myself in these spaces that are a respite from the city, even if it's only for a while, or as long as our time allows.
>Quizás por eso todo estaba en calma. La gente viene al parque a partir de las diez de la mañana y disfruta todo el día, haciendo ejercicio, juegos, meditación y otros vienen a disfrutar con sus hijos para recrearse y pasarla bien. A medida que voy caminando por los senderos, me voy sintiendo bastante tranquilo y menos estresado. Hay momentos en que es necesario alejarse del ruido y perderse en estos espacios que son una tregua en medio de la ciudad, aunque sea solo por ratos, o lo que nos permita nuestro tiempo.
I've come to this park many times. I've noticed it's a favorite with young people, and it's a special place to welcome our pets. But I hadn't paid attention to those details of the sculptures. I love the Venezuela Fountain, especially when it's moving. Its torrential jets of water splash so hard that if you walk by, you get drenched, and it's a draw for visitors because it surprises you. Right now, all its sculptures are resting from their splash, waiting for the sun to rise and tan them. This thought cracked me up; I feel more cheerful. If you ever go through something similar, don't forget that a Wednesday in the park can change your mood.
>He venido a este parque muchas veces, he observado que es el preferido de los jóvenes, y es un recinto especial para recibir nuestras mascotas. Pero no había puesto atención a esos detalles de las esculturas, me encanta la Fuente Venezuela, sobre todo cuando está en movimiento, sus torrenciales chorros de agua salpican tan fuerte, que si pasas cerca te mojan, y es el atractivo de los visitantes porque te sorprende. Ahorita, todas sus esculturas están descansando del chapuzón, esperando que el sol se asome para broncearlas. Esta ocurrencia me causó gracia, me siento más animado. Si alguna vez pasas por algo igual, no olvides que un miércoles en el parque puede cambiar tu ánimo.
Now I continue walking and as I advance I realize that there is a lot of drought, the land is arid, however, some trees maintain their greenery, perhaps because of their reservoir of water, that they accumulate, even if it doesn't rain, but the natural landscape remains ideal and is just what you need.
>Ahora sigo paseando y a medida que avanzo me doy cuenta de que hay mucha sequía, la tierra esta árida, sin embargo, algunos árboles mantienen su verdor, quizás por su reservorio de agua, que acumulan, aunque no llueva, pero el paisaje natural sigue siendo ideal y es justo lo que necesitas.
This park is called Parque Los Caobos, a space for enjoying nature. Before the park, you'll find the Plaza de los Museos and a complex of museums surrounding the area, so you can visit them. It's located in Caracas. Safe and fast access to the park is available: the Bellas Artes metro station, as well as public and private transportation.
