Cart before the horse situation...
The way to start an animation is to 1) make a script and both: 2) create the voiceover & finish the storyboards — HOWEVER — I skipped ahead on this and did a quick & simple animation. Audio is a vital foundation of animation, since animation is based on carefully synced movements. So, I done fudged up. Thing is, my sound booth is disassembled and my currently living space has a low ceiling and won't accommodate it >:(
I can record in my vehicle with a hand held mic, but it's a major hassle :)

It's one of those "Rainy Day" projects that I'm concerned I'll never finish. I will do my best!
