Today Monday was a lovely day in school with students and pupils of the Great Best Brain Akwanga . As usual, Monday's are days with seriousness in all acacdamy activities.
I woke up in the morning at 5am to warm water for my bath because am not a freind of cold water. After then i went back to my room, observed my morning prayer thanking God for the gift of life and seeking for direction and his perfect will for my life for the day. I also trust God for a successful day as I step out. At 6am is stept out and took my shower after which I put on my cloths which was set and am ready to head to school.
On geting to school as a teacher as well as a form master I needed to check the neatness of my class room and students. I discover that my class, seniors secondary one (SS1) was not properly swept. I saw a class litered with sheet of torn papers all around the class. Guess what's what was running through my mind, i was already thinking of what purnishment would the studnets serve. But then we observed staff morning prayer as staff we always commit the day in the hands of the Lord before begining the day. After the satff prayer, the students observed her regular assembly a common tradition in Nigeria schools. At assembly the students sang and prayed after wards sing the Nigerian national anthem and recite the national pledge. As a patriotic citizen we stand at attention to observed the anthem as well as the pledge.
Soon after the assembly it's was time for roll call I quickly dashed into my class as form master to take morning role call. At 8am it was time for first lesson. I teached agriculture and had lesson with senior secondary two on the topic implication of demand and suplly in agricultural production.
It was a 40 minutes lesson where I make sure the students comprehend the lesson by being able to define demand and suply and also should be able to state their implication in agricultural production. Summary of my lesson Demand can be define as the quantity of a good that consumers are willing and able to purchase at various prices during a given time.
Supply can be define asthe total quantity of goods produced by farmers and made available for sale in the market.
Implications of Demand and Supply on Agricultural Production
1 When the demand for an agricultural product is higher than the supply, price will rise and producers will produce more. 2bWhen the demand is lower than the supply, price will fall and producers will be discouraged is produce more 3 High demand for a particular substitute may arise if the price of a commodity is high 3 Higher taste of an agricultural produce may cause higher demand for that produce 4 Increases in consumers income may lead to high demand for an agricultural product. After my first lesson I had free space so I decided to walk through to the primary section of the school. While at the primary section it excite me seen pupils haven a nice time as the observe their break.
After series of classes, at noon while having my last lesson with students I can see that they were exhausted and I had to create some funny gist just to kelp the lively and to make the class interesting . Finally the Scholl closes at 2pm and it was time to go home. I took my bags and waited for students and pupils to go out of the gate while I follow.
Its was a successful day at work and I bless God. We meets again tomorrow. ovipraise
