Ephesians 4 verse 32 says, be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as God in christ forgave you.

When i was a teenager, I don't believe in forgiveness and I like to keep malice a lot. Then In secondary school a senior of mine bullied me to the extent that I couldn't sleep that night, she beat me. Since that time when someone offend me I stop talking to the person and we won't talk forever.
My heart was strong, I let little things get to me and I get angry easily.
Even at home when my mum and siblings offend me I don't speak to them the whole day and I always lock myself up in my room till the next day. My mummy always complain about my attitude and I do repeat the same thing. I find it hard to forgive and forget.
I do see it has a bad thing until when I got to the university in my first year, I joined a fellowship ,i got devoted and I don't miss the programs. So, one day a brother preached about forgiveness of sin that we should always learn to forgive one another no matter what the situation maybe. That night I cried and I changed my mindset on forgiveness. We are all sinner and God always forgive us so, we should also forgive one another.
Now i believe in forgiveness because our creator said it in the bible that we should forgive and we will be forgiven..
