I absolutely love heist movies, and I personally think the reason why they are so popular is because the filmmakers have a way to masterfully combine suspense, action, and clever planning into creating an intense and thrilling experience for viewers.
There's something thrilling about watching a heist movie; it's interesting watching how the storyline usually unfolds, watching how every move is calculated, and how every detail matters. Heist movies are just so interesting and captivating that they just have a way of making you glue yourself to your screen and also keeping you guessing with every unexpected twist.
The fact that they are mostly unpredictable is what makes them so addictive and fun to watch. Just like Money Heist, just when you think you know what will happen next, boom, the next scene will just be different from what you were thinking. It’s just immensely satisfying to watch.
For me, I started liking heist movies when I watched an Indian film called Dhoom a long time ago. I can still remember the adrenaline rush I felt watching one of the robbery scenes where Hrithik Roshan stole a diamond with all the tight security and security agents patrolling the place.
It's like that with heist movies; it's usually interesting seeing how they pull off a daring plan with precision and style. The storyline, action, suspense, and everything in between make it more exciting, and seriously, this usually leaves me on the edge of my seat or bed when watching. Watching Dhoom was actually what drew me to heist movies.
But again, I also feel these heist movies also have a disadvantage because they open the minds of other curious people to want to explore different options of stealing. We have had different incidents of heist in my country, and in most cases they get to kill innocent people. While some of us watch the movies just for entertainment's sake, some people get inspiration for their deceitful and wicked plans.
