Hello my foodies lovers how are you all doing I hope you all are doing well okay,I made a hot and sweet yam pepper soup and am happy that I made it because this is the the wether of cooking it.
Cold weather,it has been raining and everywhere is cold so I cooked yam pepper soup to worm our body.and I want to share my recipe with you guys.
My ingredients
2.5kg of yam
1 litre of water
15 pieces of uziza seed
4 nutmeg seeds
1 teaspoon of salt
1 cooking spoon red oil
4 uda seed
2 table spoons of grounded pepper
5g of uziza leave
5g of utazi leave
My process
Pilling the back of my yam cutting it and washed thoroughly the add my yam inside a clean pot and added my water then I set on fire
When the yam is about 4 minutes I added my salt
Then I started to pound my uziza seed,uda and nutmeg seeds together.this seeds are really a good spices I love cooking with them they are natural
For about 7 minutes my yam is soft then I added my red oil,my pounded spice and pepper then I turned and cover the pot.
Then I use hand and cut my uziza and utazi leave together and wash it then add to the pot and mixed very well and allow it for 2 minutes and my yam pepper soup is done
