After several days of busy preparations for the carnival to commemorate Indonesia's Independence Day, the day finally arrived, and we all prepared well. From the children to the teachers and administration.
Everyone worked together to enliven this carnival. We decorated the motorized rickshaws I featured in a previous post read here and prepared a variety of unique costumes from used items.
The children also prepared traditional costumes from various regions of Indonesia. Everyone was full of enthusiasm, whether they were walking or riding the motorized rickshaws. Here are some pictures I managed to capture with my phone camera. I hope you enjoy them. There were certainly some shortcomings.
