The Ceremony of Shadows.

On patrol with Nur, we uncovered mercenaries searching for the Hidden Ones and learned they came from Baghdad. Afterward, I trained harder than ever, mastering blades, climbing, and meditation, earning the trust of the eagle Enkidu and finally completing the leap of faith.   I had to get to Al-Hasan's workshop where Al-Hasan was mentioning the day as an auspicious day. Then Al Hasan gave Basim a package and indicated something that Basim should know about.   I had to reach the cave entrance as Roshan and others were waiting for me. There was only Fuladh waiting for me at the cave entrance who took me inside, passing the guards.  Fuladh said it was his honor seeing Basim walk his path as a novice, and as a man. Then Basim put on a new robes as Fuladh suggested him to.   Then I followed Fuladh deep into the cave and approach the altar where Roshan was waiting for me along with Rayhan and a lot more hidden ones.   After approaching the altar, Basim gave the package to Fuladh and then he went ahead towards Roshan.  Fuladh gave the package to Rayhan and then Roshan was like asking Basim to say their vows.  She simply asked him if he was ready to leave his life behind, walk the path of shadows, and ready to give up who he once thought he was, ready to sacrifice everything he held close.   As Basim accepted everything, Roshan showed him the hot knife that Basim picked up and he was about to cut one of his fingers like the others. And I had to press the button to do the action. Honestly, I was hoping he'd get spared like Ezio but he didn't, he lost a finger, like most hidden ones.   Then Rayhan gave Basim a hidden blade, that was inside the package. Basim was welcomed to the brotherhood and he checked the hidden blade for the first time.  Basim was next seen training with Roshan where Roshan mentioned him as a hidden one. Roshan challenged Basim to fight her as his equal.   I got a chance to show off my skills that I learned after all and this time I was doing just great. Roshan was like a child against me and I kept showing her how much I enjoy it. Until next time, happy gaming.
