¡Buenas noches a toda la comunidad de Hive! Hoy viví una experiencia electrizante al formar parte de la Competencia de Sets & Reps de Calistenia celebrada en el prestigioso Box 39. Aunque mi rol en esta ocasión fue el de animador, encargado de mantener la energía alta y guiar el evento, la atmósfera que se respiraba antes de que iniciaran las rondas fue tan intensa que merece un relato aparte. Mi compromiso me llevó a llegar al box con mucha antelación, lo que me permitió ser testigo de la adrenalina pura que circula entre los competidores en esos momentos cruciales de la preparación.
Good night to the entire Hive community! Today I lived an electrifying experience when I was part of the Calisthenic Sets & Reps Competition held in the prestigious Box 39. Although my role on this occasion was that of animator, in charge of keeping the energy high and guiding the event, the atmosphere that was breathed before the rounds began was so intense that it deserves a separate story. My commitment led me to get to the box well in advance, which allowed me to witness the pure adrenaline that circulates among the competitors in those crucial moments of preparation.

A medida que llegaban, pude encontrarme con numerosos atletas conocidos, todos exhibiendo una mezcla palpable de concentración y entusiasmo. Intercambiamos saludos, y rápidamente nos sumergimos en la logística del evento. Un punto clave de nuestra conversación fue el manejo y la selección de la músicaentre las rondas. Este detalle es vital, ya que el setlist correcto no es solo entretenimiento, sino una herramienta de motivación esencial para que los atletas puedan mantener su ritmo cardiaco y su enfoque durante los extenuantes circuitos de resistencia de sets & reps. Nos aseguramos de tener una selección dinámica que impulsara tanto a los participantes como al público presente, creando un ambiente de apoyo inigualable.
As they arrived, I could find numerous well-known athletes, all exhibiting a palpable mix of concentration and enthusiasm. We exchanged greetings, and quickly immersed ourselves in the logistics of the event. A key point of our conversation was the handling and selection of the music between the rounds. This detail is vital, since the correct setlist is not only entertainment, but an essential motivation tool for athletes to maintain their heart rate and focus during the strenuous resistance circuits of sets & reps. We made sure to have a dynamic selection that would boost both the participants and the audience present, creating an unparalleled environment of support.

Una vez afinados los detalles técnicos y musicales, pudimos profundizar en la energía del ambiente precompetitivo. Se percibía la camaradería, pero también la seriedad con la que cada atleta se preparaba mental y físicamente. Repasamos la secuencia de los ejercicios, los puntos de conteo y las reglas del circuito. Ver a los atletas calentando, repasando mentalmente sus estrategias y visualizando el éxito fue inspirador. Finalmente, todo estaba listo: el Box 39 se llenó, las luces se encendieron y la competencia despegó con una fuerza impresionante. Pero, la narrativa de las rondas de sets y repeticiones, y los campeones de esta increíble jornada, es una historia que les contaré con lujo de detalle en una próxima publicación. ¡Estén atentos!
Once the technical and musical details were fine-tuned, we were able to deepen the energy of the pre-competitive environment. The camaraderie was perceived, but also the seriousness with which each athlete prepared mentally and physically. We review the sequence of the exercises, the counting points and the rules of the circuit. Seeing athletes warming up, mentally reviewing their strategies and visualizing success was inspiring. Finally, everything was ready: Box 39 was filled, the lights came on and the competition took off with impressive force. But, the narrative of the rounds of sets and repetitions, and the champions of this incredible day, is a story that I will tell you in great detail in a future publication. Stay tuned!
