Once again I am writing another blog, this time I will talk about a publication that I found on Twitter, which had a leaked document of how generation 5 was going to be and a little bit of the background of it. I spent some time reading and looking for the most relevant of this file, in this blog I will also put some translations of what it contained and that I considered interesting, so get ready to see what this little content leak brings us.

What happened to Equestria? (Summary below)
"During Princess Twilight Sparkle's two hundred moon reign, Equestria faced its greatest threat yet: a supervillain who planned to take all the ponies' magic and use it against them. The evil Alicorn, named Opaline, was determined to win, take over the kingdom and rule as she saw fit. Unlike the princesses Celestia, Luna, Twilight and Cadance.... Opaline believed that Alicorns were a superior race of ponies and should be the only ones who controlled and possessed magic. Why would her Alicorn sisters deign to spend their time herding these weak little pegasus ponies, unicorns and inconsequential earthlings? Why would they care about their friendships and clean up their magical messes? Opaline would stop at nothing to make sure the citizens of Equestria were stripped of their special magic. And she began to try, using her incredible Alicorn powers to lure and trap ponies and steal their magical abilities.
After several restless moons, Twilight Sparkle and her trusted friends, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, Applejack and Fluttershy, were finally able to free the trapped ponies, defeat Opaline and restore magic to the world. To make sure that all magic would never fall into the wrong hands again, Twilight Sparkle made a difficult decision. She cast a complicated and dangerous spell, gathering all the magic in the world and placing it in three crystals.
Twilight charged her friends with the sacred responsibility of protecting the crystals and the magic they contained. She asked them to take the crystals to the wilds of uncharted Equestria, farther than any pony had ever traveled; there they would remain, dedicating their lives to protecting magic in a faraway place.
Earth ponies Pinkie Pie and Applejack took their crystal to the farthest reaches of the land, where the mountains meet the sea. Unicorns Rarity and Starlight Glimmer took their crystal to the deepest depths of an inhospitable forest. And the pegasus Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy flew to the highest peaks with their crystal. As an additional layer of protection, Twilight added a camouflage spell, placing the three lands in an incredibly strong "invisible bubble" enchantment so that they were hidden from the outside world. This way, Opaline would never be able to find them again.
Within this hidden realm, the ponies would gather each year with the precious crystals for the Festival of Unity, a grand celebration of friendship that brought the Mane Six together and recharged the magic contained in the crystals. As long as the friendship was kept alive, the magic would be too.
As the years passed, the responsibility of protecting the crystals was passed down from generation to generation. The once remote communities of pegasus, unicorns and earth ponies that had been established to protect the crystals began to grow and flourish. During these times of prosperity and happiness, virtually no one realized that each of the three species tended to gather around their own crystal. The frequency of the Unity Festival began to decrease as the ponies became busier and more focused on their daily lives. The less they gathered, the more they forgot why they gathered in the first place. Eventually, the celebration ceased altogether. The magic never recharged and eventually disappeared from the hidden world and Equestria altogether. "
Summary.
Long story short, to end the problems occurred with magic they decided to divide everything into crystals and they were given to the principals of Twilight's friends.
Finally as the years went by and as each generation was losing a little more of the meaning of the "Festival of Unity" until it was totally forgotten, finally losing the magic.
This also means that several characters had to say goodbye to their family and friends since they would have to take care of their crystals, maybe they would have some form of communication, but it is clear that they will have to live in great solitude most of their lives. It's rather depressing, it would also explain how all the magic eventually ended up disappearing.
Opaline's Origin
Opaline grew up in the mysterious Alicorn kingdom of SKYROS, where she developed her powers and her own ideas about how inferior ponies such as pegasus, unicorns and earth ponies should be ruled. She is older than Princess Celestia and Luna and was furious when their leader, the Alicorn Queen, summoned them when they were young fillies to fulfill their destiny and prepare as the next rulers of Equestria. It should have been her all along!
Celestia and Luna ruled as leaders who valued harmony, unity and equality for all ponies. Opaline couldn't stand it - they were alicorns! Didn't they know they were born to be superior? For a brief moment, when Princess Luna became the evil Nightmare Moon, Opaline developed a modicum of respect for her. But, of course, Luna reformed like every other "villain" that appeared. This convinced Opaline even more that she was the only one who could put an end to all this madness and set things right. But they were strong. And they had each other. When the sisters finally retired and passed the reins to Twilight Sparkle, Opaline finally saw her chance. Twilight had a talent for magic and had the support of her friends, but she was an anxious and inexperienced ruler. She always doubted herself. She was an easy target. So Opaline left the land of the Alicorns and began to take what was hers: the magic of all the ponies in Equestria. But Twilight fought hard and finally got the magic back. Then she hid it... until now. Because the surge of magic that came when the crystals finally stabilized did something else: it broke Twilight's protection spell.
Explanation of "Skyros".
Almost an Olympus pony mount or a Themyscira (in Wonder Woman), unreachable for normal ponies. It's where Celestia, Luna and Opaline come from. A long-standing mystery in the world of MLP. But in this series, we'll finally get a chance to explore it. (Sadly, they didn't get to).
Ancient Equestria (from FIM/the map):
Ruins of places such as Canterlot, Friendship Castle, Ponyville, etc. May provide clues from the past related to modern mysteries.
Seasons 2 and 3?
In the coming seasons, we will "zoom out" first with more stories set in Bridlewood and Zephyr Heights, and then expand our view of the MLP:G5 world by expanding the Mane 5 universe. In doing so, we will bring countless new and exciting characters and environments for our ponies to play in. Our Mane 5 will begin visiting other lands and worlds new to ponies, hoping to help protect them from Opaline or other new villains of their own.
Pony ideas? Frozen North: Aurora Ponies: stars, Celestia-like manes, ethereal.
Islands: Sea ponies, tropical ponies/neon ponies: brightly colored, bioluminescent.
"Darklands": bat ponies, gothic, spooky appearance, dark colors.
"Flutter Grotto": Flutterponies (based on g1 toy) ponies with butterfly wings.
Aura of ponies?
In this generation, we aim to continue that tradition with even more specific Cutie Mark designs. Each pony's Cutie Mark will be a clear expression of its nuanced personality. And as they get to know themselves on their journeys of self-discovery, their Cutie Marks will be important in ways they never have been before. For example, each of our Mane 5 ponies has Cutie Marks that represent multiple parts of their personality.
Note: When ponies are fully in their element, they will glow with a special color as an exciting image on the screen. This is what tells Opaline that the Cutie Mark magic has evolved along with everything else.
"Luminessence" Also known as "Sparkle."
Luminosity or brightness is a reflection of a pony's mood. One way to think of brightness is as the "energy" a pony emits, like an aura. If they are giving their best, their brightness shines brighter. If not, it may appear dull or dim. In the new united Equestria, all ponies are finally becoming their best glowing versions, and it shows.
But not all ponies can see it. Unicorns are more adept at reading and seeing the glow than other species of ponies. Especially Izzy. When the magic disappeared, all ponies' glow went out...but not for lack of magic, but for lack of unity. They didn't live as their best version when they leaned towards fear, resentment, judgment and prejudice. It is an embodiment of the energy that ponies radiate.
All ponies, whether they are earth ponies, pegasus or unicorns, have luminescence. They all have energy/spirit, so they have glow. Of course, each pony's glow is different. For those ponies who can see it (like Izzy) it probably looks like it sounds: a subtle glow and shimmer.
Trees of harmony.
The Ancient Tree of Harmony (G4)
In ancient Equestria, there was a powerful magical tree called the Tree of Harmony. Located in the wild and dangerous Everfree Forest, the tree served as a protective measure to keep the forest under control. It also grew the Elements of Harmony, magical crystals that were shaped like the Cutie Marks of the Mane 6.
In MLP:FIM, the Elements were used as conduits for the friendship magic used by the Mane 6 that helped them save Equestria from villains on many occasions. The Elements of Harmony were eventually destroyed by the tree itself, in order to protect its power from falling into the wrong shells. Later in the series, the tree was also destroyed.
Note: In the movie, when the Mane 5 travel from Zephyr Heights to Bridlewood, they pass by an iconic tree ("That's the tree on the map!") whose design is based on the ancient Tree of Harmony. Is that also a tree tree?
New Trees of Harmony
In our modern, changing magical world, the Trees of Harmony will take on a whole new meaning. These trees have VERY deep magical roots and are connected to each other through a subway magical network.
At the beginning of the series (episode 102), a magic tree is planted when the magic of the earth ponies gets out of control in the center of Maretime Bay. The M5, led by a hesitant Hitch, must work together using their new "flora" powers to tame it, which imbues the tree with the same friendship/unity magic as Crystal Brighthouse. It grows flowers that are the same color as each of our M5s. At first, it looks like it might just be a beautiful tree. But later, it may actually become the key to something bigger in the future.
The Wishing Tree at Bridlewood (featured in Special #2: Winter Wishing Day) is actually also a Harmony Tree. Today's Unicorns have always known it is special (a remnant of the past), but they still don't know why.
The respective harmony trees in Bridewood and Zephyr Heights will have their own unique aspects and attributes, such as cloud leaves or wild crystals or glowing swirls growing from them. The trees are connected.
In conclusion.
This is all that I consider important that brings the file, I was also talking about certain foods of the pony world, but it's not really that important. To have had this leak, to see how the whole G5 universe would have been explored, is something that really showed what a waste they had with this generation. Chances are we won't have anything resembling a universe of this type for a long time, but we have to hope that Hasbro will be willing to do so.

Nuevamente estoy escribiendo otro blog, esta vez hablaré de una publicación que me encontré por Twitter, la cual tenía un documento filtrado de cómo iba a ser la generación 5 y un poco del trasfondo de esta misma. Me la pasé un rato leyendo y buscando lo más relevante de este archivo, en este blog pondré también algunas traducciones de lo que este contenía y que yo consideraba interesante, así que prepárense que vamos a ver qué nos trae esta pequeña filtración de contenido.

¿Qué pasó con Ecuestria? (Resumen abajo)
Bueno, traduciendo del documento original, sería esto:
"Durante el reinado de doscientas lunas de la princesa Twilight Sparkle, Equestria se enfrentó a su mayor amenaza hasta el momento: un supervillano que planeaba tomar toda la magia de los ponys y usarla contra ellos. La malvada Alicornio, llamada Opaline, estaba decidida a ganar, apoderarse del reino y gobernar como le pareciera conveniente. A diferencia de las princesas Celestia, Luna, Twilight y Cadance... Opaline creía que los Alicornios eran una raza superior de ponys y deberían ser los únicos que controlaban y poseían magia. ¿Por qué sus hermanas Alicornio se dignan a pasar su tiempo pastoreando a estos pequeños y débiles ponys pegasos, unicornios y terrestres intrascendentes? ¿Por qué se preocupaban por sus amistades y limpiaban sus desastres mágicos? Resumen.
Resumiendo, para acabar con los problemas ocurridos con la magia decidieron dividir todo en cristales y fueron entregadas a las principales de las amigas de Twilight.
Finalmente al pasar de los años y dado a que cada generación se iba perdiendo un poco más el significado del "Festival de la Unidad" hasta que fue olvidado totalmente, perdiendo la magia finalmente.
Esto también significa que varios personajes tuvieron que despedirse de sus familiares y amigos ya que tendrían que cuidar sus cristales, quizás tendrían alguna forma de comunicación, pero está claro que tendrán que vivir en gran soledad la mayor parte de su vida. Es algo bastante deprimente, explicaría también como toda la magia finalmente terminó desapareciendo.
Origen de Opaline
Opaline creció en el misterioso reino Alicornio de SKYROS, donde desarrolló sus poderes y sus propias ideas sobre cómo se debe gobernar a los ponis inferiores como los pegasos, los unicornios y los ponis terrestres. Es mayor que la Princesa Celestia y Luna y se puso furiosa cuando su líder, la Reina Alicornio, las convocó cuando eran jóvenes potrancas para cumplir con su destino y prepararse como las próximas gobernantes de Equestria. ¡Debería haber sido ella desde el principio!
