The Koko Coast Courier: May 7, 2020

Today was the first day after I officially payed off my final house loan in Animal Crossing New Horizons, and from here I’m going to get to focus more on renovating my island to its fullest potential. So, I’ve decided to start a daily log of what I’m getting up to on my family island! The first thing of note was that it was the official first day of our new villager, Tangy. The island is named after the Pokemon Tapu Koko and the native fruit was oranges, so the island has a citrus theme to it. Tangy was a must, and I’m happy to have her! She likes to sing, which is always great. I gave her a bit of furniture for her front yard like my other villagers have. Carrie also decided to write a song today about oranges. Roscoe was cheering her on, and I’m sorry that I didn’t notice this powerful friendship sooner. I was able to catalog an arcade mahjong game and a pinball machine from a friend and ordered them yesterday, and they came in. I’m hoping to collect all of the machines and have an arcade on the right side of my attic! Of course, it’s a work in progress since I need to find the other machines... And I’m getting a bridge built connecting my sister’s little island to the fruit groves! It’s going to be the shortest bridge in history, but mobility is important to any island’s success. Today was a pretty peaceful day, and then tomorrow I’m going to have the museum moved so that I can make a wonderful area for it! I’ll need a nice place to host the fly I was finally able to catch after leaving trash out for three days...
