Hello Picture A Day friends! After a long walk chasing the flight of this butterfly, known as **White Peacock**, I got this close up of its beauty. It perched for a few moments on a ***Ixora*** to bask in the sun, jumping on the flowers and leaves as if trying to find the most suitable place to achieve its goal which, I guess, would be to take the energy that the sun's rays provide while avoiding my threatening presence. At some point it must have gotten used to my attempts to photograph it and, calmly, we both found what we were looking for; in my case ... to discover the beauty it was trying to hide!
¡Hola amigos de Picture A Day! Tras un largo paseo persiguiendo el vuelo de esta mariposa, conocida como Pavo Real blanco, logré este acercamiento a su belleza. Se posó por unos instantes en una ***Ixora*** a tomar el sol saltando en las flores y las hojas como buscando tratando de encontrar el lugar más adecuado para lograr su objetivo que, supongo, sería tomar la energía que los rayos solares le proveen evitando, a la vez, mi amenazante presencia. En algún momento debe haberse acostumbrado a mis intentos por fotografiarle y, en calma, ambas encontramos los que buscábamos; en mi caso … ¡descubrir la belleza que ella intentaba ocultar!
