Hello Hive family!
In this blog post, I will present my entry for the Shadow Hunters contest. It is a series of shadows captured in my local rural community. These shots were taken after hilighting from a moving vehicle, with the sun ahead of us. The shadows also reveal I wasn’t alone. Actually, I was with my friend and family, visiting all the way to our destination. I’ve always loved how shadows tell stories, especially on the move. They seem harmless yet they tell stories. Beautiful in broad daylights. Shadows flood the street and every one of them have stories to tell.
Each step echoed not in sound, but in silhouette.
Suddenly, a silent companion shaped by light,
bent by time and leaningforward towards our direction began to form
The trees stood as forgotten sentinels...
House shadows stitching earth to sky....*
This reminds us of memory.
As I moved along the old deserted roads,
I clamoured
But the sun stretched shadows like whispered secrets only the dust dared to keep.
Shadows brings secrets
Hunting reveals the secrets
And we interpreted it
Big thanks to @melinda010100 and the contest organizers. Hope you like them!
