**𝔼𝕤𝕡𝕒ñ𝕠𝕝**
Hoy salí a cazar sombras como a las 3 pm (hora de Venezuela) cuando el sol estaba empezando a menguar, pero el calor aún se sentía fuerte. Salí sin saber qué capturar, guiada literalmente por lo que me llamara la atención y la primera foto que tomé fue la que más me gustó y por la cual quise titular mi post *Largas-Largas Sombras*.
**𝔼𝕟𝕘𝕝𝕚𝕤𝕙**
Today I went shadow hunting around 3 p.m. (Venezuela time) when the sun was just beginning to set, but the heat was still strong. I went out without knowing what to capture, guided literally by whatever caught my eye. The first photo I took was the one I liked the most, and the one I wanted to title my post *Long, Long Shadows*.
Me han dicho que la mejor hora para cazar sombras es al mediodía pero el calor está tan insoportable donde vivo que lo pienso dos veces antes de salir al jardín. Sin embargo, eso no me impide capturar tenues sombras que se proyectan hermosamente y de manera delicada entre el color verde del césped.
I've been told that the best time to hunt shadows is midday, but the heat is so unbearable where I live that I think twice before going out into the garden. However, that doesn't stop me from capturing soft shadows that are beautifully and delicately projected among the green grass.
Fue así que noté que ciertas sombras parecían verse alargadas y eso capturó mi atención de inmediato y fue lo que quise capturar con mi cámara del teléfono. Por cierto, Pegui-Pegui me volvió a acompañar en esta ocasión, pero no quiso salir mucho en la foto, por eso solo se ven sus patitas.
That's when I noticed that certain shadows seemed elongated, and that immediately caught my attention, which is what I wanted to capture with my phone's camera. Incidentally, Pegui-Pegui accompanied me again this time, but he didn't want to be in the photo much, so only his little legs are visible.
Noté también la sombra del tronco de este árbol que también se veía alargada y si, la de la esquina en la parte izquierda es mi sombra 🤣 no pretendía salir en la foto ni con mi sombra pero me gustó tanto que no quise tomar otra foto.
I also noticed the shadow of the trunk of this tree, which also looked elongated, and yes, the one in the corner on the left is my shadow 🤣 I didn't intend to appear in the photo or with my shadow, but I liked it so much that I didn't want to take another photo.
La última foto es la que me hizo ruido ya justo cuando iba a regresar a la casa. Me sorprendió que hasta en los lugares más pequeños las sombras siguieran siendo impresionantes. Me gustó mucho esta última foto.

The last photo is the one that caught my eye just as I was about to head back home. I was surprised that even in the smallest spaces, the shadows were still impressive. I really liked this last photo.
