I must admit that during my childhood, cats were definitely not my favorite pets. In fact, for a while I thought I was allergic to them because I couldn't stop sneezing when I was around one. But that feeling changed when I was studying and living in a residence with other girls, we decided to adopt a very adorable kitten that I sadly stopped seeing when I moved out, but I always carry in my heart. That's why today, every time I see an adorable kitten, I want to hug it and take it home with me.

On this occasion, I was visiting my friend Michell, whom I call “the cat charmer.” All the cats that live around her house always come to her for cuddles and strokes because she loves all animals, but cats are her favorites. Although many cats visit her house, there are two that do so much more frequently. They belong to the house right next door, with yards that are quite close together, so they often wander from their yard to my friend's house and start meowing like crazy until she comes out. She had already told me about this, but I didn't believe her until I saw and heard it for myself, as it sounded like a cat serenade on the other side of the door.😂

When I saw them, I was completely fascinated by how beautiful they were. One of them, named Chenoa, stood out because of his ash-gray color, which seemed to blend in with his own fur as he had darker patches. Before I knew his real name, I called him “the smoky one.” 😅 But in addition to this rather peculiar coat, he had eyes of such an intense blue that they were mesmerizing. Next to him was a grumpy little guy who, my friend told me, had only been adopted a week ago, so we didn't know his name yet. That's why we decided to call him “grumpy” 🤭 until we found out his real name.

We spent some time with them as they seemed to want to play, and we also took the opportunity to give them some food, which they gladly accepted. After a while of lots of cuddles and games, they got bored of us and decided to leave, but every now and then they would come back so we could see them. I was so enchanted by these kittens that I really wanted one for myself at that moment. In fact, I wanted to take them both with me, but I knew I couldn't because they already had a family. I had no choice but to pet them while I could and hope to see them again on my next visit to my friend's house 🥺
