Bienvenidas, queridas abejitas gourmet, a otra aventura de dos chicas amantes de la comida deliciosa y siempre con ganas de probar algo diferente. Debo confesar que una de las cosas que más me da pereza hacer es preparar el almuerzo, sobre todo cuando he tenido un día tan ajetreado y llego a casa cansada. Solo quiero darme un baño y dormirme. Por eso, a veces prefiero salir a comprar la comida y no tener que prepararla yo misma, claro, cuando tengo la disponibilidad, ¡porque no voy a comprar comida todos los días! 😂.
>Welcome my dear foodie bees to another adventure of 2 girls who love delicious food and always want to try something different. I must confess that one of the things that I am most lazy to do is lunch, especially when I had such a busy day and I get home very tired, all I want to do is take a bath and go straight to sleep, that's why, sometimes I prefer to go out and buy lunch and not have to prepare it myself, of course, this when I have the availability to do so because I'm not going to buy lunch every day! 😂.
En esta ocasión, nuevamente junto a mi amiga Michell, fiel compañera de aventuras culinarias, decidimos que durante nuestra de hora de almuerzo en el trabajo, iríamos a un restaurante llamado "Sabor y Sazón Express", ubicado a solo una cuadra de nuestro lugar de trabajo así que para nosotras eso era perfecto. Cómo debíamos regresar a trabajar luego de comer el almuerzo, desde un par de horas antes ya estábamos mirando el menú para saber qué pedir y no esperar a llegar al lugar.
>On this occasion, again together with my friend Michell, faithful companion of culinary adventures, we decided that during our lunch break at work, we would go to a restaurant called “Sabor y Sazón Express”, located just 1 block away from our workplace, so for us that was perfect. Since we had to go back to work after eating lunch, a couple of hours before we were already looking at the menu to know what to order and not wait to get to the place to do it.
Después de un rato viendo el menú, mi amiga terminó eligiendo pechuga de pollo empanizada, cubierta con queso derretido, tocino crujiente y salsa BBQ; yo, por mi parte, decidí pedir algo que nunca había probado pero se veía delicioso, así que arriesgándome a que no me gustara, decidí probar algo nuevo y pedí el pollo mar y tierra, que era una milanesa empanizada cubierta con camarones, calamares en crema y queso parmesano. Ambos decidimos acompañar nuestro pollo con ensalada césar y papas fritas y para beber pedimos una malteada de mora que estaba totalmente en su punto. Cada plato que pedimos costó 10.99$ y el jugo 1.5$ y creo que valió cada centavo ya que el pollo estaba delicioso y fue un alivio total ya que nunca lo había probado antes y tenía miedo de que no me gustara el sabor.
>After a while of looking at the menu, my friend ended up choosing breaded chicken breast, covered with melted cheese, crispy bacon and BBQ; I, for my part, decided to order something I had never tried before but it looked delicious so taking the risk that I might not like it, I decided to try something new and ordered the pollo mar y tierra, which was a breaded milanesa covered with shrimp, squid in cream and parmesan cheese. We both decided to accompany our chicken with caesar salad and fries and for drinks we ordered a blackberry milkshake which was totally on point. Each dish we ordered cost $10.99 and the juice was $1.5 and I think it was worth every penny as the chicken was delicious and it was a total relief as I had never tried it before and I was afraid I would not like the taste.
La atención en el sitio es la mejor, de hecho, como ambas debíamos volver a trabajar luego de almorzar, decidimos ordenar desde la oficina para que al llegar al lugar ya los platos estuviesen listos y así fué, algo que me fascinó porque no tuvimos que esperar todo el tiempo que tardaría en estar listo los pedidos de ambas. El sitio es fresco, cómodo, tiene ventanas grandes por dónde entra toda la luz natural y la música y fantástica, muy moderno y a la vez jugando un poco con el estilo vintage. Algunos adornos clásicos y otros más actuales. La combinación de colores hace incluso que el restaurante tenga su toque elegante.
>The service at the place is the best, in fact, as we both had to go back to work after lunch, we decided to order from the office so that when we arrived at the place the dishes would be ready and so it was, something that fascinated me because we did not have to wait all the time it would take to be ready the orders of both. The place is fresh, comfortable, has large windows through which all the natural light enters and the music is fantastic, very modern and at the same time playing a little with the vintage style. Some classic ornaments and other more current. The combination of colors makes even the restaurant has its elegant touch.
Este es un plato que sin duda volvería a pedir porque estaba delicioso y además, la cantidad es la suficiente porque quede a reventar 🤭😂. Terminamos y luego de un rato, nos levantamos para dejar el lugar y volver a la oficina pero no son antes agradecer por el excelente servicio a los trabajadores que nos atendieron y prometiendo que volveríamos pronto porque aún hay más platos en el menú que deseamos probar. ¡Esperamos con ansias la próxima visita a este restaurante!
>This is a dish that I would definitely order again because it was delicious and also, the quantity is enough because I was bursting 🤭😂. We finished and after a while, we got up to leave the place and go back to the office but not before thanking for the excellent service to the workers who attended us and promising that we would come back soon because there are still more dishes on the menu that we want to try. We look forward to the next visit to this restaurant!
