Reencuentro con uno de mis mejores amigos después de un tiempo 🫂 | [Esp-Eng]

Una de las cosas que más disfruto es estar con mis amigos. Creo que nada se compara con esos momentos únicos en los que estamos con ellos y no podemos parar de reír. Lamentablemente, cuando todos somos adultos con responsabilidades y vivimos en ciudades diferentes, a veces reunirnos se vuelve imposible... Agendas que coinciden, horarios de trabajo diferentes, múltiples quehaceres y un millón de cosas más que pueden volver el simple acto de encontrarse para tomar una taza de café como algo muy lejano. Sin embargo, mis amigos y yo hemos intentado que, cada vez que tenemos la oportunidad, nos organicemos para vernos y pasar un rato juntos. >One of the things I enjoy the most is being with my friends, I think nothing compares to those unique moments where we are with them and we can't stop laughing. Sadly, when we are all adults with responsibilities and living in different cities, sometimes being able to meet up with each other becomes impossible... Overlapping schedules, different work schedules, multiple chores and a million other things can make the simple act of meeting for a cup of coffee seem far away. However, my friends and I have tried that every time we have the opportunity, we organize to meet and spend some time together.  En esta ocasión, uno de mis mejores amigos, Alfredo, venía a la ciudad porque está haciendo su posgrado aquí, pero lo hace cada dos semanas y no habíamos podido coincidir un fin de semana porque cuando él no estaba ocupado, yo estaba muy ocupada, y lo mismo pasó al revés, hasta que un día dije: «¡Esta vez sí, tenemos que vernos!». Así que cuando llegó ese fin de semana, acordamos que, al terminar sus clases, nos veríamos en el centro de la ciudad para ir a una cafetería que nos encantaba para charlar un rato y tomar un café delicioso. Después de un rato de debatir a qué cafetería ir, decidimos ir a una donde pudiéramos sentarnos al aire libre y conseguimos la mejor. Llegamos al lugar y durante el camino no paramos de hablar. Hacía tanto tiempo que no nos veíamos que teníamos mucho que contar. Y sí, sabemos que hoy en día hay muchas maneras de mantenernos en contacto, pero ambos coincidimos en que no hay mejor manera de charlar y contarnos todo sobre nuestras vidas que en persona, acompañando la conversación con una bebida. Hablamos mucho y con cada tema de conversación surgía uno nuevo. Hacía mucho tiempo que no hablábamos así y no habíamos hablado de tantas cosas que habían pasado en nuestras vidas desde la última vez que nos sentamos a conversar. >On this occasion, one of my best friends, Alfredo, was coming to the city because he is doing his graduate studies here, but he does this every two weeks and we had not been able to coincide on a weekend because when he was not busy, I was very busy and the same thing happened in the opposite case until one day I said, this time yes, we have to see each other! So when that weekend came, we agreed that when he finished his classes, we would meet in the center of the city to go to a coffee shop that we loved so we could have a little chat and a delicious coffee. After a while of debating which coffee shop to go to, we decided to go to one where we could sit outdoors and we got the best one. >We arrived at the place and on the way there we could not stop talking, it had been so long since the last time we saw each other that we had a lot to tell. And yes, we know that nowadays there are many means by which we can keep in touch but we both agree that there is no better way to chat and tell everything about our lives than in person and also accompanying the conversation with a drink. We talked a lot and with every topic of conversation a new one came up. It had been a long time since we had talked like this and we hadn't talked about so many things that had happened in our lives since the last time we sat down to talk.  El reencuentro con un amigo es una de las cosas más gratificantes de la vida. Es un momento en el que la distancia se desvanece y lo único que importa es ese instante en el que compartimos todas nuestras historias y anécdotas juntos. Nos encantaría poder vivir en la misma ciudad o estar un poco más cerca para venir mucho más seguido pero acordamos que intentaríamos hacer el espacio en nuestra agenda con tiempo de anticipación para tener más oportunidades de vernos para compartir y no dejar pasar tanto tiempo. Cuando decidimos irnos del lugar, caminamos un rato y seguimos hablando pero al caer la noche ambos teníamos otros asuntos pendientes que atender así que con tristeza tuvimos que despedirnos no sin antes hacernos la promesa de que haríamos esto mucho más seguido (ambos esperamos poder cumplirla 😂) mientras tanto, nos mantendríamos en comunicación por celular. >The reunion with a friend is one of the most rewarding things in life. It is a moment when distance fades away and the only thing that matters is that moment we have to share all our stories and anecdotes together. We would love to be able to live in the same city or be a little closer to come much more often but we agreed that we try to make the space in our agenda with time in advance so that we have more opportunities to see each other to share and not let so much time pass. When we decided to leave the place, we walked for a while and kept talking but when the night fell we both had some other pending things to attend so sadly we had to say goodbye but not before making the promise that we would do this much more often (we both hope we could fulfill it😂) meanwhile, we would keep in communication by cell phone.   **¡Gracias por leer mi post!** 💜 Thanks for reading my post! 💜
