I think I've been very lucky in life to have friends who share the same love of coffee as I do, and I think the best plans with me always involve going for a cup of coffee. Greetings, my dear lovers of the most delicious liquid that exists! Today I want to tell you about my experience visiting one of the new coffee shops in town called “Chollett”... Lately, my crazy plans (note the sarcasm 😂) have consisted of just going out to the new coffee shops in town with some of my friends and talking about life.
On this occasion, I hadn't seen one of my dearest friends in a long time because we've both been so busy that our schedules never coincide, plus he usually travels a lot outside the city, so when I finally have some free time, he's not around. But one afternoon, after seeing how time was passing and passing and we couldn't plan a meeting that would actually happen, I received a message inviting me to a new coffee shop over the weekend. I had already heard about it and even seen some reviews from people who had visited it, and it seemed like a very nice place. So, without planning it too much, my friend picked me up, and in the blink of an eye, we were walking into that coffee shop.
My first impression was that the place was quite cozy, not very big but with the ideal space to make it a private spot. The service was very good and the menu was presented in a way that allowed us to scan the QR code with our phones, which would take us to the menu. It was very varied and on this occasion I wanted to order a Vanilla Latte for a change from the mocha and cappuccino that I usually order. It didn't take long to arrive, and from the aroma that had already permeated the entire place, I knew this coffee would be delicious. Let me tell you, I was not mistaken. It was delicious, one of the best vanilla lattes I have ever tasted... The flavor was perfectly balanced, not too sweet but not bland either. It was simply one of the best.
My friend could tell from my expression that I loved it, because when you're a coffee lover, it's impossible to hide how much you like it 🤭. We chatted and drank our delicious coffees, caught up on each other's lives, and when our cups were empty and we had shared all our stories, we decided it was time to leave, but not before thanking them for the excellent service and the delicious coffee that accompanied our catch-up session. Últimamente, mis planes locos (nótese el sarcasmo 😂) han consistido simplemente en salir a las nuevas cafeterías del pueblo con algunos amigos y charlar de la vida.
En esta ocasión, tenía mucho tiempo sin ver a uno de mis más preciados amigos y es que realmente hemos estado tan ocupados que nuestras agendas jamás coinciden, además de que el usualmente viaja mucho fuera de la ciudad así que cuando yo al fin tengo un tiempo libre, el no se encuentra pero una tarde, luego de ver cómo el tiempo pasaba y pasaba y no logramos planear un encuentro que si se cumpliera, recibí un mensaje donde mi invitaba el fin de semana a una nueva cafetería. Ya yo había escuchado e incluso visto algunas reseñas de las personas que ya la habían visitado y parecía ser un lugar muy agradable. Es así, como sin planearlo tanto para que se cumpliera, mi amigo pasó por mi y en un pestañear ya nos encontrábamos entrando en aquella cafetería.
Mi primera impresion fue que el lugar era bastante acogedor, no muy grande pero con el espacio ideal para volverlo un sitio reservado. El servicio fue muy bueno y la carta estaba presentada de forma que podíamos escanear el código QR con nuestros teléfonos, lo que nos llevaba al menú. Estaba muy variado y en esta ocasión quise pedir un Latte Vainilla para variar un poco el mocca y el capuchino que son los que siempre suelo pedir. No tardó mucho en llegar y por el olor que ya había impregnado todo el lugar, supe que este café estaría delicioso. Les aseguro que no me equivoqué. Estaba delicioso, uno de los mejores lattes de vainilla que he probado... El sabor estaba perfectamente equilibrado, ni demasiado dulce, ni tampoco soso. Simplemente, uno de los mejores.
Mi amigo supo por mi expresión que me había encantado y es que cuando somos amantes del café, ocultar lo mucho que nos gusta es algo imposible 🤭. Charlamos, tomamos nuestros deliciosos cafés, nos pusimos al día con nuestras vidas y, cuando nuestras tazas estuvieron vacías y compartimos todas nuestras anécdotas, decidimos irnos, no sin antes agradecerles el excelente servicio y el delicioso café que acompañó nuestro momento de ponernos al día.
