Entre mis hobbies más preciados se encuentra la lectura y es por eso que cada que tengo la oportunidad de visitar librerías o ferias de libros créanme que allí voy a estar si es posible todo el día 🤭. Tengo la dicha de compartir está afición con una de mis mejores amigas que además también es una de las autoras de un libro publicado así que ambas, siempre que se nos presenta la ocasión, nos acompañamos mutuamente en la gran aventura de un libro nuevo para leer.

En esta ocasión ambas sabíamos con un mes de anticipación que se realizaría una feria del libro en la ciudad de Caracas y organizamos nuestra agenda para apartar el día y poder asistir a la ciudad y ser parte de esa maravillosa experiencia, además mi amiga Michell también tendría una presentación con otro de los autores del libro que han publicado y yo como presidenta de su Club de Fans, quería estar allí para apoyarla.
>On this occasion we both knew a month in advance that a book fair would be held in the city of Caracas and we organized our agenda to set aside the day and be able to attend the city and be part of that wonderful experience, plus my friend Michell would also have a presentation with another of the authors of the book they have published and I as president of her Fan Club, I wanted to be there to support her.

Esta fue la primera feria a la que asistí, donde no solo había muchos puestos de venta de libros, sino también dinámicas, arte, exposiciones de autores y presentaciones culturales. Tomamos el primer autobús a la ciudad, ya que está a dos horas de donde vivimos, y salimos muy temprano para disfrutar de todo el día de la feria sin presiones. Al llegar, quedé totalmente impresionada, ya que no me imaginaba la cantidad de libros y puestos que podría haber, pero superó por completo mis expectativas. ¡No sabíamos por dónde empezar!
>This was the first fair I had attended where there would not only be many book sales booths but also dynamics, art, author expositions and cultural presentations. We took the first bus to the city since it is 2 hours away from the city where we live and we left very early in order to enjoy the whole day of the fair without pressure. When we arrived at the place I was totally impressed since I had not imagined the amount of books and stands that could be there but it completely surpassed what I had imagined, we did not know where to start!

Nos tomamos algunas fotos en la entrada de la feria ya que desde que llegamos al lugar todo lo que había alrededor hacía referencia a libros y eso nos encantó. Decidimos emprender nuestra búsqueda del libro que deseábamos llevar con nosotras de regreso a casa y pasamos por cada stand, viendo a detalle cada uno de los libros, escuchado algunas historias y por supuesto cazando ofertas porque lo mejor de estas ferias es que puedes conseguir incluso ediciones especiales de libros en un precio mucho más accesible que de costumbre. Llegamos a un stand y al instante uno de los libros llamó mi atención porque aunque por supuesto íbamos con mente abierta de encontrar alguna historia para una nueva lectura, por puesto que ya teníamos en mente algunas que queríamos iniciar.
>We took some pictures at the entrance of the fair since everything around us was about books and we loved it. We decided to start our search for the book we wanted to take back home with us and we went through each stand, looking at each of the books in detail, listening to some stories and of course hunting for bargains because the best thing about these fairs is that you can even get special editions of books at a much more affordable price than usual. We arrived at a stand and instantly one of the books caught my attention because although of course we were going with an open mind to find some story for a new reading, of course we already had in mind some we wanted to start.

Después de recorrer el lugar y cumplir con nuestra misión de encontrar las mejores ofertas en libros, llegamos a la presentación de mi amiga Michell, pero de esto, queridas abejas, les contaré en otra publicación 😉. Al final, cuando ya habían terminado las presentaciones de ese día, vimos la presentación de un baile artístico muy hermoso.
