Another magnificent morning wearing my Saucony runners which provided more toe room than my Asics for a slow 6k jog to test my suspected broken toe from yesterdays parkrun. The weather gods were kind again providing ideal conditions and the arrival of the first species of migratory birds to Moreton Bay, Redcliffe this year. There were hundreds of them on the beach and in the water recovering from their epic journey. I don’t know which species they were but some species fly from the Arctic annually to our shores
