The day after grandparent duties

12 days to go before Bridge to Brisbane 10k fun run which is the biggest fun run in Queensland attracting 35,000 starters, so no backing off the training. 45 minutes of cross training this morning involving a lot of planks, crunches, reverse crunches and sit-ups then headed to foreshore for an easy 8k jog. My legs were crying particularly my knees following my falls at parkrun last parkrunday and 2 days of grandparent duties. Then did my weightlifting for the day by manually unloading 108 x 6kg cartons or product and restacking in storage area (total lift was about 1,300kg). Definitely don’t need to attend any gym sessions 😀
