Namaste 🙏
Hope you all are going good!!!
So after we completed our wandering session in the Taxi and explore the upper regions of the Nainital, it was time that we got back to the main town. As soon as we got off Taxi, the first thing that we noticed right in front of us, was this beautiful majestic lake.
There were a lot of words in this lake. These boats looked really old, and I was told that these boats are of the British era only and some of them are even hundreds of years old.
And just like that, out of nowhere, someone from the boating department came right in front of us and asked us if we wanted to do boating. We couldn’t refuse this offer as the perfect conditions right in front of us for it.
It took us around ₹420 Per person to do the boating. We paid the amount, and there was a person to guide us to our boat as soon as the receipt was received.
His name was Golu, and he was a very decent guy. He told us about the stories of this lake and how it was discovered by an Englishman back in the 19th century. Being a Pahari, he had a very sweet tone, and he was speaking very politely.
Where was the Lord of fish in the lake, and he told us the reason for that this was because they were a few oxygen cylinders continuously pumping oxygen inside of the lakes that promotes the growth of the fish.
I saw that for the first time in my life, and I was amazed to see that I was really happy, wondering in the boat and enjoying the mountain view with the huge lake.
The lake itself is divided into two parts 2/2 to be precise and there are boating facilities available on both sides of the lake, but there is one condition that from one extreme of the lake, you can only get to the midway of it and not towards the other side completely, so we had to get to the midway And then head back to the starting point
The weather was as good as it can be. The rain just stopped, and we were in a perfect timeframe to do the boating while we were getting back from the centre of the lake. The rain again started to fall just a little bit on our faces and we were a little buried, but this was just a listening, and it didn’t catch up very quickly.
As we were about to get back to the shore, the rain started to fall very hard. Now we were worried, but at the same time relieved that we reached our destination safely. It was fun and also adventurous doing boating in this lake and I highly recommend you guys to do this activity whenever you are in Nainital.
I will be covering the next part of my trip in the next blog. I think that is it for today. Thank you all for passing by.
