I thought getting in here would require a long waitlist, but in less than 10 minutes, I was able to create the account. However, I've been listening to family and friends talk about Hive for a long time (@norelysgp) and (@emiliocabrera), who has been guiding me through my first steps in this ecosystem. I say this before introducing myself because it was surprising to learn that there was a platform that monetizes content and to see the number of content creators. Wow! Of course, beyond seeing Hive as a job where you can earn money, I've seen how people close to me have evolved socially and professionally. *** *** ### Okay! Now let's tell you a little about myself!
My name is María Patricia, I'm Venezuelan, 26 years old, and I'm currently studying medicine on the nursing track. I usually describe myself as someone who respects the thoughts and lifestyles of others. To be a friend, to feel affection, respect, and empathy, I don't need the other person to be like me, I don't need them to like the same things as me.

Pensé que entrar aquí me tomaría una larga lista de espera, no obstante, en menos de 10 minutos pude crear la cuenta, sin embargo llevo mucho tiempo escuchando a familiares y amigos hablar sobre Hive (@norelysgp), (@emiliocabrera), quien me ha estado orientando para comenzar mis primeros pasos en éste ecosistema. Digo ésto antes de presentarme porque fue sorprendente para mí saber que existía una plataforma que monetiza los contenidos y ver la cantidad de creadores de contenidos. ¡Wow! Por supuesto, más allá de ver a Hive como un trabajo donde se puede ganar , he visto como personas cercanas a mi han evolucionado social y profesionalmente. *** *** ### ¡Bueno! ¡Ahora sí les hablaré un poco sobre mí!

Me siento privilegiada porque no me gusta excluir a nadie, las críticas constructivas siempre son bienvenidas. Lo que me aleja de alguien es darme cuenta que esa persona no sabe aceptar las opiniones de los demás, ver que la felicidad/ éxito de los demás le molesta.
Se que estamos lejos de ser perfectos, poco a poco vamos aprendiendo y trato al maximo de vivir una vida donde pueda construir lo soñado.
Tengo una niña que se llama Marley , a penas tiene 6 años de edad y es mi principal motivo de vida , la que me inspira a luchar día a día para brindarle protección y ayudarla a que sus sueños se hagan realidad.
Pertenezco a una familia pequeña integrada por mi mamá y dos hermanos, lamentablemente mi papá murió cuando yo tenía 16 años de edad, siempre lo recuerdo con mucha nostalgia, amor y guardo en mi corazón todas las cosas que me enseñó.
I feel privileged because I don't like to exclude anyone; constructive criticism is always welcome. What distances me from someone is realizing that they can't accept the opinions of others, or seeing that other people's happiness or success bothers them.
I know we're far from perfect; little by little, we're learning, and I try my best to live a life where I can build my dreams.
I have a daughter named Marley. She's barely 6 years old and she's my main reason for living, the one who inspires me to fight every day to protect her and help her make her dreams come true.
I belong to a small family consisting of my mother and two brothers. Unfortunately, my father died when I was 16. I always remember him with great nostalgia and love, and I hold in my heart all the things he taught me.

Como mencioné anteriormente, estoy cursando el último año de enfermería para optar el título de TSU, con miras a la licenciatura y posteriormente especialización. Mi experiencia durante los estudios han logrado que ame más ésta carrera porque se siente bien poder ayudar y curar a las personas que tienen dificultades de salud, también porque aprendemos de la experiencia de los profesionales de la medicina. Deseo compartir con ustedes algunas fotografías de ese tacto que las estudiantes hemos tenido con las personas en las comunidades para control y prevención de enfermedades como la hipertensión arterial, así como también, charlas educativas, vacunación en escuelas, entre otros.
As I mentioned before, I am currently in my final year of nursing, working toward a TSU (Technical Graduate Program), with a view to a bachelor's degree and later a specialization. My experience during my studies has made me love this field even more because it feels good to be able to help and treat people with health problems, and because we learn from the experience of medical professionals. I would like to share with you some photographs of the contact we students have had with people in the communities to control and prevent diseases such as high blood pressure, as well as educational talks and vaccinations in schools, among other things.
### Gustos y ocio
Más allá de mis responsabilidades como madre y estudiante, mi vida es algo dinámica porque hay muchas cosas que amo hacer, entre esos gustos está el hacer deporte, no voy decir que siempre fui una atleta pero, de unos años para acá empecé en el gimnacio para tonificar algunas partes de mi cuerpo. En agosto del 2023 incursioné en el mundo del voleibol, siendo sincera,fui para distraerme aunque no sabía que me iba a gustar tanto que lo hice parte de mi vida cotidiana, actualmente soy profesora de la categoría sub 13, y estamos consolidando un equipo femenino que se mantenga en el tiempo ya que muchas niñas llegan y no permanecen.

### Hobbies and Leisure
Beyond my responsibilities as a mother and student, my life is somewhat dynamic because there are many things I love to do, among those hobbies is playing sports. I won't say I've always been an athlete, but a few years ago I started going to the gym to tone some parts of my body. In August 2023, I entered the world of volleyball. To be honest, I went to distract myself, although I didn't know I would like it so much that I made it a part of my daily life. I currently teach the U-13 category, and we are consolidating a girls' team that will last over time, since many girls arrive and don't stay.

### Mascota preferida
No quiero pasar por alto algo que me ha gustado desde mi niñez, el amor por los perros, eso lo aprendí con mi padre que me enseñó a amar y cuidar éstas hermosas mascotas , puedo recordar los nombres de cada uno de los que he tenido , éstos traviesos fieles han traído mucha felicidad, algunos tristezas porque lamentablemente no son eternos.

### Mis expectativas sobre Hive
Tengo muchas dudas que considero iré conociendo a través de mi permanencia aquí, se que puedo hacer de Hive un estilo de vida donde pueda desarrollar mi potencial, también ofrecer y dar lo mejor de mi , algo que considero positivo en mi es que me gusta ser disciplinada y constante, creo que una de las razones por la que no había comenzado a crear contenido es porque estuve en la etapa de estudios más fuerte, actualmente estoy desempleo y tengo esperanza que puedo hacer de la colmena una entrada financiera, camino hacia la libertad..!!! Una anécdota que tengo sobre hive es sobre las ballenas y curadores , los sustos que me daban algunos familiares cuando recibían amor en sus contenidos y me preguntaba como era eso de los votos jeje siempre mencionaban @appreciator, #curangel, #cervantes. *** *** Me despido de ésta sencilla presentación deseándoles muchos éxitos a los que están aquí , y agradezco todos los consejos que puedan darme, son bienvenidos.

I have many questions that I think I'll address throughout my time here. I know I can make Hive a lifestyle where I can develop my potential and also offer and give my best. Something I consider positive about myself is that I like to be disciplined and consistent. I think one of the reasons I hadn't started creating content is because I was in the midst of my strongest studies. I'm currently unemployed, and I have hope that I can make Hive a financial source of income, a path to freedom...!!! An anecdote I have about hive is about whales and curators, the scares that some family members gave me when they received love in their content and I wondered what that vote thing was like hehe they always mentioned @appreciator, #curangel, #cervantes. *** *** I'll end this simple presentation by wishing all of you here much success, and I appreciate any advice you can give me; it's welcome.
