Like a pin prick?

During the Tattoo Expo Show Olomouc (CZ) (which I wrote about in my previous article), there was also a cultural program on stage. Musical performances, lectures, interviews... And a performance by the Fly High Tribe group, whose artistic genre was, shall we say, quite specific.

It started with piercing necks, faces, hands. "Do not try this at home," the host repeated several times. It's a highly specialized activity where one must know exactly how and where to pierce. However, there were no tricks involved. Needles, hooks, and blood - everything was real. (I overheard an irritated sound technician muttering, "Damn, even the microphone is covered in blood...")

Nevertheless, the show went on. Something similar could happen to DIY enthusiasts if they aren't careful enough when working with power tools.

And when you're completely broke with no furniture, no couch to lie on, you can at least hang comfortably.

Actually, I'm not sure how comfortable it really is, but the guy seemed to be genuinely enjoying himself.

And how do you swing when you don't have a swing? All you need are two hooks and a piece of rope. Plus a solid amount of resilience and courage (or maybe just plain craziness?).

The Fly High Tribe had ropes and a pulley system set up outside in the park for anyone interested in trying out this adrenaline-packed activity. Would you take them up on their offer? It was a unique opportunity - when else would you get a chance to try something like this?

By the way, during the presentation, the host asked: Why do you do this at all? Apparently, there are multiple factors: ritual, exploring the body's limits, overcoming fear, and the euphoria of endorphins. I think there's a bit of madness involved too. In any case, for me as a spectator, it was a truly extraordinary experience.
