From Hive to Leo: One Game at a Time Mastered

"You can have everything... just not all at the same time." This is the main idea that has led me through the amazing blockchain and crypto community world. I got to know the importance of focus, patience, and strategic growth - it is a lesson that I lived as I passed from Hive to Leo. How I went from just holding Hive to actively chasing Leo in a managable way is shown below.

The journey through which I was introduced to Hive was that of a decentralized blockchain platform that was not only trapping me with its lively community but also with its unique method of rewarding. I was not a mere dabbler, rather a whole player. Interestingly, Hive’s ecosystem that included blogging platform and tokenized rewards resembled a digital playground where one can simultaneously create, engage, and earn. I was a curious newbie at the start, posting content, commenting, and gaining the skills for staking Hive Power so as to increase my influence. The excitement of getting Hive tokens, for my contributions, seemed to become one of my bad habits but it was not just about the rewards, it was about the game itself. I started to learn the various functions that make up the platform such as curation trails, voting power and so forth and polished up the content so that it may be in harmony with the community. In fact, it was not only tokens but also knowledge and connections that led to the growth of my Hive wallet.

Actually, it is not very easy to master Hive. The steep learning curve was difficult and it required a lot of dedication to keep up with the community dynamics, understand the difference between Hive and Hive Power, navigate through the wallet, and so on. But I gave it everything I had. I concentrated on producing quality posts, engaging in a real manner, and using my profits to raise the voting power.

Slowly but surely, I am getting recognized in the Hive ecosystem. My posts started trending, my upvotes started to matter, and my Hive holdings started to increase consistently. Instead of going after quick wins, I was essentially building my foundation. This focus really paid off as my Hive stash turned into a proof of the phenomenon that sticking to one game and playing it well is the key.

Yet, the crypto world is huge and my curiosity was eventually triggered to LeoFinance, which is now Leo for short. To put it simply, Leo, which is a Hive blockchain-based project, got me hooked with its concentration on the finance, DeFi, and tokenized blogging. In a manner, it was similar to Hive but with more emphasis on wealth-building and financial education. A new kind of power, one that is connected to markets, investments, and decentralized finance, was being promised by the Leo token which is used for curation and staking. I confirmed that it was a chance to spread my game, however, I was quite sure that I shouldn't plunge recklessly in. The moral of the hive story was still there: be the best in one thing before moving to another.

Moving to Leo didn’t signify dropping Hive altogether. Rather, I considered the support that my Hive foundation had given me as the starting point. By first of all, immersing into Leo’s environment, reading posts on Leo platform and getting familiar with its unique tokenomics. The enthusiastic discussions related to crypto trading, yield farming, etc., were the main topics dominating Leo’s smaller but passionate community. I made the decision to start pitching in with articles about my Hive journey and gradually getting deeper into DeFi subjects. In my Hive experience, I already got a grasp of the blockchain basics as well as community dynamics, which were my advantages. However, Leo had a new requirement that was the need for adopting the mindset of an effective financial strategy and market trend predicator.

I did it for money and simply by writing articles and curating content I got Leo tokens. Again like in Hive, to grow my influence I staked my earnings and learned how Leo Power increased my votes and rewards. I wasn’t hastily trying to understand Leo in a single night. I rather went on like I had before: having a focus, acquiring knowledge, being active and expanding. I searched out the successful Leo users to follow, joined their Discord and learned from them. At the same time, my Hive holdings were still my backbone through which I got passive rewards while I was building my Leo stack.

Right now, I am committed to Leo rather than to Hive and my main aim is to hold a substantial amount of Leo. What I mean by that, is not that I am leaving Hive behind rather I am aiming to extend my portfolio and influence across as many ecosystems as possible. Hive was the place where I learned the power of focus; Leo is teaching me the art of diversification. While I am not after a shiny new token or platform, I am adopting the opposite strategy. My plan for Leo is to keep riding on one post, one stake, one connection at a time, and to become master of the game sooner rather than later. The ambition is to reap really big in Leo like I did in Hive, and then be at liberty to investigate a new realm. Since in this play, you are capable of having everything just not all at once.
