Hollow Knight Silksong is finally here! We can now take off our clown wigs and give them to those waiting for Bloodborne on PC, but we can proudly say that just a few hours after Silksong's release, the game is everything it promised to be and much more! Personally, I haven't been able to play as much as I wanted to, but I couldn't help sharing my impressions, and if I can, I'll tell you even more about this great game in other posts!
Let's see, it's Hollow Knight Silksong, it's a different theme and a different story, but as soon as you enter the game, you realize that you're back in Hallownest in spirit, because the art style is beautiful and Hornet, despite being the protagonist with new mechanics, feels very different to control. She's more fluid, and you can tell in combat as soon as you start.
The game in general starts off calmly with the occasional classic tutorial enemy and simple obstacles, but with nods to the past. For example, something I thought at first without meaning to was that the water hurt me like in the old Hollow Knight, but then I thought it was just normal water and I ended up looking silly, haha. You can swim normally, haha.
Something I quickly noticed is that Hornet's falling attack is not the same as the Knight's, which makes it very difficult to get through spike zones with the parry. However, I've only just started playing the game, so it's very likely that I'll get used to it later on or that something will change. As I continued to advance, I cleared certain areas and also picked up a few items that I don't know what they're for yet.
The important thing about all this is that despite being so similar to the original game, it's very noticeable that there are two ways of playing and that we're facing another adventure. Something as simple as sitting on the bench to rest and save the game shows Hornet's personality.
The knight in the original game was never alert or didn't care, and after sitting for a while he would fall asleep, while Hornet is alert to any noise and doesn't close his eyes at all.
Now, something I didn't expect is that as soon as I reached the bench and continued on my way, I had to face a first “boss.” I thought I would arrive at a city or something first. The one called Madremusgo was aggressive, but I can say that even though she lowered my health, I defeated her without complications and left the underground.
Something I didn't mention is that Hornet seems to be excessively weakened throughout this tutorial phase, so after the battle against the boss, she faints when she leaves there, but shortly after falling, a strange insect lady wakes her up and gives her a situation of those lands, making it clear that we have to get to the citadel to answer to those who took Hornet kidnapped there.
Here we are presented with the beginning of an incredible adventure, because shortly after talking to her, we arrive at the pilgrims' camp, the place that seems to be our base for exploration and rest.
At this point, I stopped playing, so as soon as I continue, I'll show you my adventures with Hornet because, honestly, this game had me super hyped, and I know it won't disappoint! See you soon!

Al fin tenemos Hollow Knight Silksong! Ya nos podemos quitar la peluca de payaso y entregarla a los que esperan Bloodborne en PC, pero con orgullo podemos decir que a pocas horas de la salida de Silksong, el juego es todo lo que prometĂa y muchĂsimo más! Personalmente no he podido jugar tanto como querĂa pero igualmente no podĂa dejar de dar mis impresiones y si puedo contare aun más de este juego tan genial con otros post!
A ver, es Hollow Knight Silksong, es otra temática y otra historia, pero apenas entras al juego te das cuenta que volviste a Hallownest en espĂritu, porque el estilo de arte es hermoso y Hornet a pesar de ser la protagonista con nuevas mecánicas, se siente muy diferente de manejar, es más fluida y se nota en el combate apenas comenzar.
El juego en general al empezar es tranquilo con uno que otro enemigo clasico de tutorial y obstaculos sencillos, pero con guiños al pasado, por ejemplo, algo que pense al principio sin querer era que el agua me hacia daño como en el antiguo Hollow Knight, pero luego pense que simplemente era agua normal y efectivamente quede como tonto jaja, se puede nadar normalmente jaja.
Algo que notĂ© rápidamente es que el ataque en caĂda de Hornet no es igual al del Caballero, lo cual hace muy complicado pasar por zonas de puyas con el parry, sin embargo apenas toque el juego asĂ que es muy probable que más adelante me acostumbre o simplemente algo lo modifique. Al seguir avanzado limpie ciertas zonas y tambiĂ©n recogĂ uno que otro objeto que por ahora no sĂ© de quĂ© sirven.
Lo importante de todo esto es que a pesar de ser tan parecido al juego original, se nota muchĂsimo que son dos maneras de jugar y que estamos frente a otra aventura, algo tan sencillo como sentarte en el banquillo a descansar y guardar partida demuestra la personalidad de Hornet
El caballero del juego original nunca estaba alerta o no le importaba y al cabo de un rato sentado se dormĂa, mientras que Hornet está alerta a cualquier ruido y no cierra un ojo para nada.
Ahora, algo que no espere es que apenas llegue al banquillo y seguĂ mi camino ya me tocará enfrentar a un primer “Jefe” pensĂ© que llegarĂa primero a una ciudad o algo, la llamada Madremusgo fue agresiva, sin embargo puedo decir que aunque me bajĂł vida la derrote sin complicaciones y salĂ del subsuelo.
Algo que no comente es que Hornet durante toda esta fase tutorial parece estar debilitada en exceso, asĂ que luego de la batalla contra el jefe, se desmaya al salir de allĂ, pero al poco de caer una extraña señora insecto la despierta y le da una situaciĂłn de esas tierras, dejando en claro que tenemos que llegar a la ciudadela para rendirle cuentas a quienes llevaron a Hornet secuestrada allĂ.
AquĂ ya se nos presenta el inicio de una aventura increĂble, pues al poco de hablar con ella llegamos al campamento de los peregrinos, el sitio que parece, será nuestra base para explorar y tener como punto de descanso.
Llegados a este punto deje de jugar asĂ que apenas continĂşe, mostrarĂ© mis aventuras con Hornet porque la verdad es un juego que me tenĂa con un hype tremendo y se que no me decepcionara! ¡Nos vemos pronto!
