After a few really colorful posts featuring Egypt, I’m back to the European winter, spending Christmas with my family.
A few more days and we’ll be in 2022. Looking back, it’s been a great year, with lots of changes and many things learned.
My top 10 things of 2021 were:
-
Winning the contest for Best Short Story of 2021 by one of the local publishing houses
-
Getting a remote job in the industry I really like
-
Relocating to Slovenia and having spent more time with the family
-
Reading some great books (my top picks are 1- Confessions of an Economic Hitman by John Perkins, 2- Leadeship and Self Deception by The Arbinger Institute, 3- Beyond Order by Jordan B. Peterson, 4- By the River Piedra I Sat Down and Wept by Paulo Coelho, 5- Fiber Fueled by Dr. Will Bulsiewicz)
-
Spending more time in the nature (you can check the photos from my hiking trip above the clouds in the Julian Alps)
-
Establishing a sustainable daily morning workout routine, a mix of pilates and body weight training
-
Visiting Turkey and Egypt
-
Spending some quality time with my sister that lives on the other side of the globe
-
Making one or two new friendships that will probably last a lifetime
-
Taking a bit of time every day to learn more about crypto
What about you - how will you remember 2021?
