Hello needlework, my cutting and sewing colleagues ✂️✂️✂️✂️✂️ it another style for princess, different from others that i made, i haven't sewn skirt and top for her before, it was a big flabbergasted when i come up with this idea style, because i normally made gown or trouser for her, well i inow that this sunray fabric will look so nice with this style, i wanted to sew gown for but the left over fabric wasn't enough and it will not good in using the with as length because the fabric has it line, so i come uo with a flair shirt and crop top which i haven't sewn for her before.

So i went to my friend's shop and i saw this sunray fabric, it was a leftover piece that was kept inside her piece bag, so i asked my friend about it she said she will not use it again then i removed it out, so i went home with it.

I was thinking about the kind of croo too i will sew for her, but the fabric is not enough i just have to make a simple handless sleeves for her, so i went through online then i sew a cowl neck style which i haven't sew before, i know there's no harm in trying but i was scared because the fabric was not enough so i will not made a mistake, i firstly started with the skirt cutting process, the skirt cutting was so simple, the problem was that the fabric is so stretch and so stressful to sew, my sewing mechine hate stretch materials, i then folded the fabric by two in "A cut" flair shape, i measured the waistline from there i took the normal length and from the waistline i draft out the flair shap and cut out, so i first of all joined the body together through the sewing machine then i cut out the waistband and sew it down and double stitch it down.

This is what it looks like.

There will be an elastic in the waist, after finishing with the skirt i moved ahead with the top, i started with the front part first, i folded the remaining fabric by two i measired the full length, then i divided the shoulder by two and from the hem of the shoulder point i come down by 3.5 inches which will be turn out as the normall shoulder, it just look like a bubu sleeves hem, so from the down part i took the armhole length then i cut it out.

I folded the remaining fabric again and cut out the back side i took the back shoulder the same 3.5 inches length as the front side,

I joined a facing linning at the back neckline so i joined the shoulder back and front together.

After that i bind the sleeveless point with facing, So this is how it look like.

I now picked up the elastic with my safty pin and inserted the elastic through the waist trape then i close the trape point.

Here is the final outcome of my princess outfit.

It look so beautiful, despite the fight of the stretched problem i still over come it, but the fabric is not good with the style, and the it was not enough to make the line length matches together, indeed there's no harm in trying, it my first attempt i will definitely do better than this.

Thanks so much for passing by, do have a nice day.
