Hello needlework.

Happy needleworkmonday and happy new week to you all of my beautiful and handsome people in this @needleworkmonday community, how are you all doing today and how is everything going with you all, I hope everything goes perfectly well, today I will be sharing with you all on how I cut and sew this beautiful peplum top for myself.

It very nice for a tailor to find a chance of creating something for his or herself, because is not nice for you to sew and lack an outing wear, so I was looking for a chance to made something for myself, so I had this remaining fabric for a long time now.

It was not enough to sew gown and I didn't have money to combine it so I remembered i had not been wearing this peplum top style, so i decided to sew it for myself and i each time i see someone wearing it i admired ot because i always like it and it needed much lining because i like turning the flare with facing lining because the hem bending always give me problem is either i wave it or i turn it with facing bit turning with facing always make it looks nice.

So i brought out the fabric with some materials needed, i folded the fabric by two i took the normal half length measurements, so since the top is off shoulder i off 7 inches and took the normal half length measurements, i then took my center dart measurements for the princess dart so i divided my shoulder, my body and my burst, i added 2 inches for sewing allowance then i cut it out.

I folded the fabric again after cutting out the front, i folded the fabric by two and placed the front on it 8 added the 1.5 for the zipper allowance and cut it out.

I folded the remaining fabric by four and cut out the front flare.

After cutting out the front flare i then pread the fabric on the floor and placed the front flare on it and then cut oit tue back flare.

After finishing with the cutting i placed the front and the on the facing lining and cut them out.

I also placed the front and the back flare on the facing lining and cut out.

I now went and turn the front and back flare with facing.

I sew the front princess dart and back princess dart and the facing also together.

I now turn the front and back with facing.

I moved ahead and join the front and back flare together and put the zip at the back.

I now joined the front back and front together and cut out the two side sleeves and joined.

Here is the outcome of it.

It looks so beautiful, the fabric wasn't enough to use for the sleeves so i used the maroon color of fabric and joined at the down hem of the sleeves and it look beautiful, i love it and i hope you love it too. Thank you so much for reading through.
