Hello Hive, happy and blessed weekend to you all of my friends in this amazing community, how are you all doing today? I hope all is well, I'm here today to share my beautiful post with you all, it's a simple step by step process that I carried in making this beautiful long kaftan bubu gown for myself.

It was amazing moment for me to choose this beautiful style for myself, I was so lucky to received this beautiful material from my Aunty, we went to the market together to buy some food stuff, while passing by we saw the material and I admired it beauty and wish I was money I would have buy so we came back and my Aunty went out again I didn't know that she took money and went to the market again to buy the material for me, I was so excited that day till today so I decided to sew this beautiful kaftan bubu style for myself, so I went and bought this blue color of bridal satin for the combination.

So I spread the material on the floor and I took the full length of the gown, then i took the shoulder measurements divided by two, so i draft down the body and burst measurements and cut it out.

After cutting oit the front i spread the remaining material on the floor and folded the material by two then i placed the front side on it, so i took the back neck length by 1.5 because i didn't want the back neck length to be so wider then i cut out the back through the same front cutting, after cutting out the back i then spread the blue satin on the floor and folded it by two and i draft down the shape very well and cut out the neck exactly the front neck measurements.

Finishing with the all the cutting i then went to the sewing machine and turned out the front part with the band properly then i turned the back side neck with facing and joined the front and the back shoulder together, after that i joined the feont and the back body together through my body measurements, so i cut oit the satin by my round sleeves measured and the length by 5 inches which I'm foing to bend it by two and bind it then i double stitch it carefully and i bend the down hem and i iron it very well.

So here is the outcome of it

It was just a simple style and I wanted something simple and easy to wear because we were having women rally in our church so the outfit was so beautiful that day, although it was not a breastfeeding mother dress bit because oir church is not far from our house, so a lot of women in the church love it and i loves it too.

Thanks so much friends for reading through my post.
